Payton, what do you remember about watching this one? Yeah, Kyle, uh, in kind of preparation for this, I looked back and saw that that was actually the by-week for the Colts, uh, that week. So, I probably watched that game, but certainly no clue that we would face that Bears team in the Super Bowl in this season. And that was a very tough team to prepare for. That defense especially was tough. Brian Erlocker, Lance Briggs, they were very sound. They didn’t do a whole lot on defense, but the defenses that they did do, they did them extremely well at a high level. So, it’s funny to uh to watch this game knowing what was going to happen later in the postseason.
Peyton Manning may have defeated the Bears in Super Bowl XLI, but Chicago’s 2006 defense left an impression.
