Retained 50% by the Flames and it’s a very solid top 6 guy with chemistry built in with our squad, at less than $3M.
If the price isn’t too steep I’d be more than okay with it.
He’s 34 years old and is just not the same player he was when he played here. All this talk of Stamkos, etc is a waste of time. These guys best years came and went and it’s time to look forward, not back.
Unless of course you think duking assets to trade for him +have him 50% retained is even mildly worth it, which it really just isn’t. No more memory lane players. Move on.
