Full Highlights | Mammoth vs. Maple Leafs – Nov 5, 2025 (w/Joe Bowen)

[Music] Puck is dropped and we’re underway as the Leafs clear it down into the Utah zone. A drop pass goes into the wing and then a centering effort is intercepted by the Leafs and pushed ahead. Knander with a partial break in over the line into the slot and a shot and that was deflected wide by Vanichek. Boy, Willie just knows. I mean, it’s amazing his anticipation of when to go or if you look over there beside you, I hit there and Lton got elbowed in the center ice area and was looking for a little payback. Yeah, that was Ian Cole. Stlars punches it back on the wall and it’ll clear and get out at center ice and doy is in full pursuit of Ole Mata. Now here it’s Lton stealing the puck. Centering pass in front of the goal. Oh, what a chance Lorenz has. And he sent it just wide to the far post. Knocked it free. Couldn’t get it in front. Now has it in front of the goal. And a shot by Riley. Went just wide. And it’ll be played around the boards to the near wing, but not out. Pass in front of the net. Tvaris, rang it off the goal post. Was able to secure it momentarily, but he was outmatched there. Now Matthews coming out and got a wrist shot away that was partially blocked and it went wide and then taken down on the play was the winger as the puck comes free and now here’s Bobby McMahon. Boy, the Leafs are getting the penalty here. To Tavvaris but carrying on is Schmaltz into the corner. Now Keller tried to get it in front and he did and that was stopped. Joshua went right into the net. Neander brings it in over the line. A drop pass and a shot by Tovaris was kicked away. Leafs buzzing here getting it back to the point. McCabe into the slot. Machelli in with a pass on the right wing and a shot. Whistles wide to the goal off the stick of Morgan Riley. Spinning with it was Carone, but he couldn’t get it in front and the Leafs are breaking. One man back. Here’s McMahon working in over the line. He’s got John Tvaris with him. Goes in a goal and the shot was kicked away by Vanichek. Turnover at the Leaf line leads to another rush here. The Leafs in over the line again. Drop pass for Riley. Side steps one centers wrist shot by DOI went just wide. He got a lot on that, didn’t he? Did he ever played back down into Toronto territory round back of the net centering pass they score a turnover back of the net and Michael Carone has opened the scoring for the Mammoth right after the Leafs get the great chance at one end that doesn’t go. Brandon Carlo coming back into his own zone. Michael Caronei opens the scoring and there’s a shot that Stallars had to fend off. Robertson to the front of the net, but the shot went to the other side and was easily steered into the corner by Vanichek. Leafs now again with it back into the slot. Carlo. Oh, he had a great scoring chance and missed the net there. Knander swinging it around at center. Tavvaris off the bench works down the right wing and into the zone. Stops it up. Penalty coming here. Pass in front of the net for Knander. Scores. We Will ties the game on a great setup by John Tamarz. And the Maple Leafs have tied it at one. Devaris was the one that was going to draw the penalty on the rightwing boards coming into the Utah end of the ice as he was held on to. Kept going till he got to the corner. Finally threw it to the front of the net. Played to center ice. Brought in over the line by Matthews to N. Now to Matthews. Drop pass and the drive is kicked away by Vanichek. Leafs up on the right side now with McCabe who shoots it in and peels to the bench. Grabbing it there. A centering pass. Scores. Scotty Lton on a middle of a line change. Hammers this one home. No, it’s Matthews. Matthews, what am I saying? In the middle of a line change, Matthews comes over the boards to join Machelli and he hammers it home for a two-1 lead. Machelli, we saw highlights on YouTube of some of his setups and he is in the corner on the backand to the near wing it comes. Schmidt trying to play it ahead. Twoon one break down low. Here’s Purka centering in front. Oh, what a save made by Stallars. He goes from post to post to get a glove on it. Was that Logan Culie coming in on the right side? I don’t think he got very much of the puck and it gave Stallars a chance and the Leafs take a roughing penalty. The Leafs have scored twice and lead it by a score of two to one. Now here’s a break in. Oh, what a dive. And what a play. Holy macker Carlo. Oh, really? Somebody called this a plet. I don’t know which official. The one that was right by the net. Did not make the call. I mean, this was puck first. Well, maybe not. Back into the slot area to the left wing side. A shot by Carone is swallowed up by Stard and house cleaning is done there by the Leaf defense. They’ve got to be careful. They’ve already been given a roughing penalty in one of these scrums. Now on the near side, Gunter trying to play it in front. A shot right on the big rebound. Oh, it lays so tatalyzingly in the in the blue paint. Now another shot and Stolars has come across and stopped that. The Leafs have iced the puck with the penalty over, but that rebound was laying there and the Leaf defender got over and swiped it into the corner. Jim Ralph has faith in the officiator. Stop the presses. Stop the presses. Puck down in the Toronto zone to the point. The shot coming. Scores. Sergey from the blue line. And I think Anthony Stolars would like to have this one back. It was right along the ice. And this was the Leafs. This a simple dump in and the Leafs. Jake McCabe went into the corner. Utah won the battle and just threw it back to the middle of the ice. This is three games in four nights. started in Utah and then boy, we got a penalty here coming up. Is that Willie Nelander that’s down and he is doubled over as he is going to the bench under his own accord. Teams are discussing on the ice. We got a penalty coming up here at the 20-minute mark. Utah 22 P for cross checking. Back to the blue line to Riley to Machelli again. Machelli down into the corner. centers in front. A shot by Robertson went just wide of the net. Riley couldn’t keep it in. Brought back in by Machelli. Machelli to the left wing side. Robertson in on goal. The rebound. He pokes to the front of the net. And good save both times made by Vanichek. Initiated there by Mermis was intercepted. Brought back in by the Mammoth who play it into the slot area. Shot. Big save off the stick of Barrett Hayden off the blocking glove and the Maple Leafs are going to chip it out at center and Robertson makes a nifty little pass to Riley. Back in for Nikki and that was tipped just wide of the far goal post. Javvaris trying to go rink wide, hit a skate that allows Oel to get to it and shoot it down into the zone. Bobby McMahon bulling his way back of the net. Got it out in front. Jamarz scores. Paul lead back 51 gives the Leafs the lead. [Music] What you love about this goal is how the Leafs make it happen. Get to the line, ring it around the boards, and Bobby McMahon is the lead that’s coming down the right wing side. and 51 on his night celebrating reaching that milestone here. The centering pass knocked away. Utah keeping it in into the slot dished off on the left wing. A shot. Good blocking save made by Stallars. Got it up on the left wing side for Peturka. Dished into the Toronto zone. Oh, a big collision there. Mermis getting maybe the worst of it, but certainly instituted a lot of it and is regaining a little more of it as he gives Gut there a pretty good combing. And now we’ve got Meyers getting after his man and uh taking up the staff of his defense partner. Got to be careful here. You got a one-goal lead with 918 to go in the third period. He’s probably going, “Hey, I deserve it as much as he did.” That’s right. My name’s going to be attached to it here. for the Mammoth getting it into the slot. A shot. Oh, and a big collision there as Stlars gets knocked down by Barrett Hayden. Now he’s trying to get his stick but can’t. Hatton in front of the net with McCabe working him with the cross checks. The puck goes down into the corner. Hatton knocked down. Finally centering pass in front and Hatton blew it. He had an opportunity and it went right by him after all of the hat. Meyers backpedals, finds Riley. Riley on the left wing brought in over the line by Joshua into the far corner for Machelli. Back behind the net, Joshua centers. Machelli scores. A dagger to his mates as Machelli fires home the Leafs. Fourth goal to make it four-2. [Music] Chel had the assist on the Austin Matthews goal in the second period. And here he starts this play by getting in on the for check and getting the puck in the corner to the left of VTEC Vanichek. And here the Mammoth bringing it in on the right side. McBain with a shot and down to cover up Stallars. And boy, there have been some really good scrums in front of the net at either end of the building. Flipped out at center ice. Net empty down to our left to start. And no, off the goal post from Willie at the blue line. Here’s Kulie getting it in along the boards. Keller tries to help out. Pass intercepted. Leafs get it free. Nice breaking to center. Empty net. Score. [Applause] [Music] Doctor, you can take the bet pan. This one’s over. And the Mammoth taking their time now. A long lead pass. Springing good. They’re in on goalie at the goal post. No, he scores. It came right back out. Leafs caught napping there on a almost 110 ft stretch pass. Now a dozen seconds left in the game. Stlars looking to send it down for a goal and then a shot. He has to come back after it was blocked. He didn’t get enough on it and he’s got a big grin on his face. Draw one by the Mammoth and a point shot. Oh, that took Stallar’s off the right shoulder. That’s a hockey god saying don’t try that again. again. That’s right. Well, they don’t have to try it again. [Applause]

  1. Now THAT was a good performance from the Leafs. Good pace, good sandpaper, good effort. A couple of mental lapses, but not too bad. We need to see this EVERY night.

  2. It is amazing the imagination and createtivaty the refs have when it comes to calling penaties against the Leafs and thier blindness when it comes to calls for the Leafs. the nhl continues to be a joke night after night. How many times a night does Stolarz get run into and no calls, But untill betman is gone the nhl will be ajoke compared to other sports.

  3. So I've been away from hockey for the past few years, just starting to follow it again. So I looked it up and I know that while the franchise didn't "move" they technically inherited the Coyotes' personnel in lieu of an expansion draft. I'm just curious how the team is doing in terms of their base. Don't know I ever thought of Salt Lake City as a hockey town, but those kookie Mormons can surprise you.

  4. Leafs dont have much, but they do have the best radio commentators in hockey history. A real friggin shame Rogers wont put them on tv, just another reason to boycott that company.

  5. Another nice result. That's the way to go Leafs.
Again thank you Jelly for your quick highlights upload. It's a real privilege to watch the team I love from here in London, UK..

  6. Tavarez. Grind. Battle for pucks. Score. Assist. Netfront excellence and Lead. Every goal hard earned and NEVER stops Hounding the puck.
Mathews- not so much. Float around the perimeter, avoid the blue paint, touches NOBODY'S but scores the one timer.
Ya… that soft play and entitled laissez Faire play and attitude gets you the C every time.

  7. The boys will win a lot of hockey games if they can play the full 60 minutes like they did with this one. It wasn't perfect, but all-around it was generally well-played. GG Mammoth. Tk$ for the highlights!

  8. This Is Johnny Toronto About His 500 Goal Ceremony At Scotiabank Arena And The Leafs Beat Utah Mammoth Of 5-3 Final Score And It Was A Good Game To Watch And Always On To Saturday Against The Team I Hate The Most The Boston Bruins And Always Go Leafs Go
