Diamondbacks Have Extended Qualifying Offer to ZAC GALLEN! Will He Accept It?
It’s a big day for free agency in MLB and Zack Gallon has officially been offered his qualifying offer, tendered his qualifying offer. I don’t know what the verb is technically there, but Zack Gallon has been offered $22 million to play on the Dimebacks for the 2026 season. He’s almost certainly going to reject this, but in talking to the press after the season, he said, “I think of myself as a Dback really.” He played half a season in the majors with the Marlins. The rest of his time has been with the Diamondbacks. So, there’s a chance he’ll accept it. And there is also a chance that he will reject it and then the Diamondbacks sign him on a much longer contract deal later down the line. We don’t know, but we’re excited and we’re probably going to see quite a bit of news here in the next few days. So, be sure to hit subscribe and follow and all that good jazz.
It’s no secret that Zac Gallen will almost certainly not be playing for the Diamondbacks next season. So today we look back at his six and a half season tenure with the D-backs and determine whether or not he qualifies as one of the greatest pitchers in our history!
