  14. Probably a slight exaggeration, but when you think about it, this is the best thing that possibly could have happened to him.

    1. He’s in a contract year
    2. He joined a team that is a championship contender, while simultaneously becoming the best pass rusher on the team
    3. The Eagles have a TON of primetime games over the second half of the season, plus playoffs.
    4. He’s going to a talented defense that has thus far underperformed, and many contribute that to the pass rush. So he could come in and be the missing piece for a defense on the cusp of greatness.
    5. He’s playing with Jalen Carter, who commands double teams

    Going from Miami to Philly in a contract year is one of the best opportunities he could have been given. If he balls out we could re-sign him or he could get a big contract elsewhere. He’s the biggest winner of the trade and I can see why he is ecstatic.

  19. It’s actually wild how bad the Dolphins organization must be for these pro athletes to be this thrilled to be leaving Miami at the start of winter.

  20. this guy was very likeable in the hard knocks season featuring the dolphins. made it that much more heartbreaking seeing him get injured and realizing right away it was his achilles. been a fan since, one of those guys that looks adversity in the face and keeps moving forward

  34. Imagine coming from a dysfunctional Dolphins organization to philly, it really puts it in perspective the great Dynamics we have in Philly and we are lucky to be in this time we are now with the Eagles.
