  1. Damn.

I wish the power of love would grant me the ability to hit a 3-run homer in the World Series, but you can’t always get what you want 🤷‍♂️

  2. I assume that’s Dorothy. She was Babe’s biological child, born out of an affair he had with Juanita Jennings while he was married to Helen Woodford. His second daughter, Julia, was actually older than Dorothy, but was the daughter of another woman, Claire Hodgson, who Babe also had an affair with. This time Helen told Babe to pack it up and they divorced. He later married Hodgson. Dorothy has a rough time growing up (she said that Hodgson got jealous of any attention that Babe showed her) and drifted away from Babe. She died in 1989 at age 68. Julia and Babe remained close his entire life. Julia actually died only 6 years ago at age 102.

  3. I love Babe Ruth, but I hate what he did to my aunt. (I’m his wife Helen’s great-nephew)

  4. Just when I thought I’d seen every photo of the Babe, something as wonderful as this comes along.

  5. Why don’t baseball players kiss their children before a game to motivate them like this? Are they dumb?

  6. I wonder if there’s a picture of Pete Rose kissing someone else’s daughter before the ’75 World Series.
