Should we have any high hopes for a long and good Mitchell season?

No. Any production from Mitchell is a fun bonus at this point.
He shouldn’t be anything more than a fifth outfielder.
I believe the saying from Grumpy Old Men applies here, “you can hope in one hand and crap in the other and see which one gets filled first”.
I will always be a fan of Mitchell and his potential but I think at this point he’s comfortably the 5th outfielder if Chourio, Frelick, Perkins, and Collins are all healthy. He’s got way more offensive upside than Perkins and Collins in my opinion but you can’t count on any of it.
Goddamn.. negative crowd out in full force
No, hell they might end up non tendering Mitchell
No
I think he has an all star level season or gets injured and is out for the whole year. No in between.
It’s not going to happen with us. Mitchell will go to another team and be made of adamantium and live up to his potential.

No.
Just reviewed Mitchell’s approximate salary numbers. The man is not rich, rich yet, but I’d like to suggest he hires a professional to protect him from any cartoonish injuries from now until February (e.g. avoid salad tongs bud).
Glad to see Henderson reinstated because the season was over I hadn’t heard that his elbow was indeed fine. And of course many blessings to Woody.
There is no reason to believe so.
I don’t have high hopes but it won’t surprise me if he is healthy either. Everyone said we would never see a full healthy season of Molitor too because of his constant injuries when young and he is in the HOF.
It’s crazy that people were concerned about his diabetes, but that hasn’t been an issue. Just crazy, bad luck injuries.
Lol we know how this ends
There’s always a first time for everything
No one knows what to expect from Mitchell…not the fans or the Brewers. He’s only flashed at times…and there were not many. His body looks the part…but he never looks confident..sure of himself that he belongs. You want to think he has the same potential of a Jarren Duran but yet the results don’t show. Ya he’s had crazy bad luck with injuries but in between he had enough time to show more than he did. My attitude is and I hope the Brewers feel the same…it’s all about what he shows in Spring Training. He has to really show and earn it…otherwise he’s just a guy. It’s all in his hands so either he takes advantage or just another guy that coulda shoulda.

If you count going into the second week of the season as long for him, then sure. I’d love Mitchell to be healthy and come back to form, but the guy’s body just can’t hold up.
Big hopes for Logan in the rotation!
I don’t see any reason to, tbh.
When he’s healthy he’s an elite defender with some pop. He’s just not proven he can play a full 162, I’m a huge fan of his potential, when he’s right he makes this team every better than when Perk is in CF, and he lets Jackson stay in LF. Hopefully he can put it together this year 🤞, it would make the team even better.
I feel like 2026 is his last chance to make an impact here. I have a lot of faith in him because he has a high ceiling, he’s talented af but just can’t stay healthy. But a breakout season from him is feasible, and I can’t see Collins keeping up his production again so Mitchell performing and staying healthy will be crucial
Hopes? Sure. High hopes? No way.
Hope absolutely. Hope is free and is always something to have.
But the team should have a backup plan because as always availability is always the best ability.
