Tyson Kozak Returns To Lineup | Buffalo Sabres Loss To St. Louis Blues | Game Highlights
will join us later in the broadcast and that’ll be a pleasure to have him flipped in by Dene Hoffer playing that puck to the corner. Early pressure down low by Buffalo and that wins the puck back. Dene takes the pass. Nice move with the backhand shot and Hoffer able to make that. Savers with a keep in in the St. Louis zone. Shot from the point is blocked and now Torupchenko had a short-handed goal last night on the rush to the net. Stop by Lucan into the rebound is picked up. They’re doing a good job here getting back, getting the puck, but attacking quick. No hesitation. They’re trying to get up the ice, trying to catch St. Louis as they’re coming in their direction. Malenstein for D. Malenstein with a chance all the way at center. Can’t make it up ice. And now Queen comes back left side. Cuts in front. Here’s Dome. Penalty coming up on the play as Dome made the move. The penalty call was made. The puck for Thompson this time. Taage over on that left side. Good support play by the Savers as Josh Stone gets it back. Goes to the net between the legs in front and somehow comes up with the save on that one. He got the glove up there and somehow keeps it power play. The Blues did get a short-handed goal last night as I mentioned earlier. Sabres on entry this time on the left side. Pressure at the point and a turnover and trouble here perhaps as the Blues look to counter. Here’s a chance and they get a shorty again. Back-to-back games this time Matthew Joseph they get the goal for the Savers. Looked like they were going to put one in and that one goes off the post as Tage from up top getting behind the St. Louis defense. Now the Blues counter with a nineman rush already up one- nothing. Two on the rush that goes to the net saved by Uka Lucan and that puck will come outside the zone. Yeah, you look for that infectious play from guys like Malenstein as leads through a lineup and that shot is going to bleed through Lucan in and it’s two nothing St. Louis and pass up the center. Tuck will drop it back. Here’s Mloud working on Fowler in front. Tuck with a shot and Herford comes up with a pass save. Pass to the far circle. Tuck off the wall from Mloud. Here’s Don in front. Dolene near Circle with a shot off the post. game might change your tides a little bit. Shot from the line. Holer save and Rihanna is there. They had their chances at it. Rosanne right there. Dylan Holloway plays it to the far corner now behind the net. Look in front and they score. Standing right in front of Lucinan. Snugaroo. After review, after review a few determined that the puck was kicked in the NFL. Oh, no. Got a break there. Definitely directed and they’ve determined kicked. Pareo steps down to the right side. Dylan Holloway down to the far circle. Savers take it away from him, but Pereo at the point sends it to the net. That’s off the post by D’vorski, but the Savers win it back. Taged Thompson turning away from traffic. Here comes a shot and another post by the Sabres. That might be the headline of this night. Power brings it up top. Here’s Rosane with a shot in traffic in front. Rebound chance. The net. It’s knocked off and it might have been Holer that knocked it off. And now we’re getting other mentions in at the line. The Blues Snugaroo. Thomas is going to walk right in. Save by Lucin. Sakers with possession and back now to full strength with a minute 12 to go and Lucan has gone to the bench. Yeah, it’s only the third shot at net for St. Louis here in this third period. There’s a leave at center and Buffalo’s got to get possession here at the St. Louis blue line that’s fired into the back of the net. Joseph B Krabs gains the line trying to go up the middle. Grover takes the puck away with 4 seconds and that will do it. Horses on this one. Three nothing in the final. Yeah, heading on the road here. Maybe good for this team.
The Buffalo Sabres lost 3-0 to the St. Louis Blues on November 6, 2025. Mathieu Joseph scored the Blues first goal of the night midway through the opening frame. Nick Bjugstad scored the team’s second in the second period and the third goal came from an empty netter. Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 14 saves in the matchup.

The Sabres are hopeless. They have maybe two top 50 players – and this is a stretch, in Thompson and Dahlin but that is it. The rest are role players at best. The suits from top to bottom are the worst in the NHL.
The best part of this game was getting to listen to Ward and Primeau tell stories. Loved Razor telling the story of Pat Quinn breaking up a fight between him and Tim Hunter.
Lindy Ruff is a joke of coach, and his staff is even worse
