Just watched this interview from only a week before the Luka trade, when Nico was in active trade talks with the Lakers, praising Luka and calling his value to the Mavs “immeasurable” — which is wild in hindsight.

30. I’m not a conspiracy nut or anything, but I 100% believe this trade was orchestrated by a higher power. No way it wasn’t. There are far too many coincidences that line up around this entire trade for this not to have been.
