  1. Keep in mind, we’ve never seen Doug make a major trade just for the sake of trading.

I don’t think we’ve reached the point of “tear it down” just yet.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a fringe guy moved here soon to make room for Lucic since Dvorsky has played his way into a seemingly permanent spot

  2. I am not too familiar with this website, but it seems like the info came from Frank Sevali. I’m not sure what to make of it. Potential trades give me anxiety

  3. “The St. Louis Blues are “open for business” on the trade market as they sit 15th in the Western Conference early in the 2025-26 season, [NHL insider Frank Seravalli](https://x.com/frank_seravalli/status/1986817892579520611) reported on Thursday’s Amazon Prime broadcast.”

I’d trust a shady used car salesman before I’d trust anything Seravalli says.

  4. It sounded like Friedman thought we were looking for a move, but it didn’t sound like he said they were selling off, just shaking up.

  5. Best thing the Blues could do is find a sucker for Buchnevich’s contract. Hated it when they announced it. Didn’t want him signed long term. Hate it even more now. I realize cap is going up but he is a magician, pulls the disappearing/disappointed act to much.

  6. Hockey “journalism” goes like this: I think the Blues are hopeless and should start trading assets. I then write a piece bloviating about possible trade candidates and trading partners. Citing no one, I then suggest there are rumors (that I made up entirely) about a certain player going to a certain team for a certain return. With my self-licking ice cream cone complete, I publish it.
