  1. We definitely can’t afford him, but I would be on board with it. Just need to put him behind a competent OL……

  2. As much of a dream that it’d be to have Joey B back in Louisiana, he’s currently the *second highest paid* player in the NFL at a $55 million salary. Only Dak Prescott beats him out at $60 million. We’d probably have to do a complete overhaul of the roster to even come close to affording Burrow, and at that point, we may as well find someone else.

Don’t get me wrong, I would 100% not complain if he found his way down here, but I’m not holding my breath either

  3. Unless we suddenly acquire all the trade capital needed to lure him away from the Bengals, I dont see this even a worthwhile discussion.

  4. I’d love it….but we would be a worse scenario than Cincy for Joe. If we had a strong o-line, all for doing whatever. He deserves a long career. We can’t offer that right now

  5. It’d be frankly cruel to take him out of the bengals and put him on the Saints, with our o line? He’d actually get killed

  6. his career would be over in two years with the current state of our OL and the picks we’d have to give up

  7. I sincerely doubt the Bengals are shipping their franchise qb because 32yo Jacoby Brissett had some success.

  8. We don’t have the talent to even help him. He’d face the same potential injuries behind this line and we don’t have a top 3 receiver
