  1. Wonder if CC Sabathia will show up since he’s a big golfer and is on the course all the time

  2. They finally took John Smoltz’s suggestions for improving baseball:

    1. No more pitchers. The ball is to be placed on the ground directly in front of the batter.

    2. In order to offset the hitter’s new advantage, the ball shall be shrunk down. Dimples will replace the laces since pitchers will no longer need to grip the ball.

    3. All fielders shall be removed from the field.

    4. There are no more teams. All hitters play for themselves.

    5. Outfield walls shall be replaced with small holes approximately 250 -700 yards away.

    6. Hitters will no longer score runs, they will be judged on how many swings it takes them to get the ball in the hole.

    7. The current scoring system shall be inversed. The hitter with the fewest number of swings is now the winner.

  3. Shadow Creek is one of the most brutally difficult courses in the world (but also the most beautiful/expensive/exclusive as well)

We’re gonna see some hilariously high scores, can’t wait lol

  4. I hope Cal plays and I hope they invite the ‘Dump 65 Here’ guy to stand next to the hole

  5. MLB needs to really needs to hand out their awards earlier. By the time they come out, no one cares because the season has been over for weeks

  6. Holy fuck I live in Vegas, please let this be affordable.

Edit: is it even a ticketed event?

  7. I’m actually really interested in this. I’ve always heard hockey and baseball players were generally the best golfers out of the four major sports. If I had to guess, starting pitchers probably beat out position players. They probably get a lot of swings in, during spring training.

  8. Please let Will Smith represent the Dodgers. By all accounts he’s very good. He even claims that had he not made it in baseball he’d have pursued pro golf.
