Dallas Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland has Passed Away at Age 24

I’m gonna be honest, y’all. I was trying to find the right way to start today’s show off, but I I don’t need a right way to start today’s show off. I’m just gonna speak from the heart, man. May God please allow Marshon Nean, his soul, to find the peace that he would so desperately need. Y’all, we have the worst type of news break today. as Dallas Cowboys fans, as human beings, as another young man um that that understands what that dark place is like. Bro, we have to relay the information that Cowboys former second round draft pick um secondyear defensive end Marshawn Nean has passed away. And out of respect for his family and out of respect for anyone close to Maran, I’m not going to get into the details of what happened. All I’m going to say is this, bro. Please, if y’all need help, reach out to somebody. If you need someone to talk to, reach out to somebody. Even myself, I get people blowing up my inboxes all the time with paragraphs worth of stuff about the Dallas Cowboys. If y’all are going through a hard time, please feel free to do the same thing about you, about your life, about a struggle that you’re going through, because chances are someone can relate to it. Chances are I can probably relate to different aspects of it. Man, this is this is the worst possible type of news to wake up to. This ain’t about football. This ain’t about worrying about where replacements are coming from or none of that. This is about having a very human conversation and being vulnerable for a second because how how do we get here? Let’s get right into the show. All right, so we kind of covered it to start the show out a little bit today, y’all. Um the Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Marshon Neland has passed away. Y’all will find out the details of the how and the wins and all that stuff at some point. I’m sure very soon. The team has already been informed about it at the time of me recording this video. Um, I don’t think the news has officially broken just yet, but the team has already been informed about it. And this is this is a very, very real thing, y’all. This is where we all have to take a step back and this is where we go back to the conversation I keep trying to have with y’all about man, when you’re dealing with life, when you’re dealing with negativity, when you’re dealing with just bad energy, bad vibes, it does no one any good to dwell on the negative. It does no one any good to stress and be upset about and be just distressed about stuff that we can’t control. It does no one any good to only try to find the most negative possible avenue to seeing something. The only to find the most negative possible perception. It does no one any good to do that. And this is this is the type of stuff why I preach so much. Why it’s important, man, that not only we as fans, but we as people get back to being comfortable seeking out our own peace. Being comfortable protecting your peace, being comfortable with bad stuff happening and understanding how to find the silver linings, how to find the lesson in that situation. Because when bad stuff happens, y’all, it happened. It’s in the past already. It already happened. So dwelling on it, feeling negative about it, spending extra time thinking about why did it have to happen, it does you no good. It does you no good because all it’s going to do is continuously weaken that weaken you. It’s going to continuously weaken you and break you down to a point to where you just feel like you can’t take it anymore. Just with anything in life, whether that’s losing a job and you just feel like you can’t take it anymore. Whether that’s losing a a significant other and you feel like you just can’t take it anymore. You got to find that lesson. You got to find that lesson in that situation and understand how to utilize that lesson to improve the quality of your situation the next time around. You got to find that lesson in that situation. Y’all, this is incredibly disheartening. I don’t even know where to begin to start talking about this from even a football perspective because I feel like football is so secondary in this conversation. I feel like this is a conversation where we as people have to take a step back and and and ask ourselves, did we and how did we contribute to a young man getting to the point to where he just couldn’t take it anymore. You got to ask yourself, how am I treating the people that I interact with each and every day? How am I treating those people? What type of lasting impression am I having on those people? How did I treat that random person that I crossed paths with? Did I hold that door open at the gas station for the person walking behind me? Did I tell that clerk, “Have a blessed day. Hope you have a good day.” How did I How do I treat each individual I interact with? How do I look out for my brothers, my sisters, my family? How do I be a better friend? How do I be a better partner? How do I be a better brother? How do I be a better person? How do we ensure that the ones that we love the most, the people closest to us, aren’t struggling so damn hard with a fight that they feel like they can’t win? How do we know? Pay attention. You observe. You feel what other people feel. Not just what you feel, not just what you want to feel. You have some awareness. You have a level of consideration. God bless Mar. So, God bless his family. And I was a little emotional starting this out. I don’t know the young man. I know of the young man. I know what the young man has shown the world. And what the young man has shown the world is a guy with a sense of humor. A guy who loves to laugh. a guy who loves to compete and just a a guy who who man this is way too soon. I cannot believe I cannot believe this is what we’re waking up to right now. I cannot believe this is what we’re waking up to right now. Y’all, all I’mma say is this. The only thing I hope everyone takes from this biz man, enjoy the days as they come. Enjoy the days as they come. Don’t find ways and find reasons to dwell on negativity. Find ways and find reasons to look towards positivity because this life is too hard. This life is too hard. And I’mma be honest, this young man hasn’t bothered anybody since he’s been out here. This young man hasn’t done anything to garner an ounce of scrutiny. This is this is very very sad. This is very very sad. And again, I don’t even know how you could begin to start having football conversation. This is this this this is the clo this this this is the closest home I’ve ever been to a situation like this in the sports world where a player passes away or takes whatever happens. This is the closest I’ve ever been to a situation like this, bro. And this is this is an eerie eerie feeling. This is an eerie place to be right now. God bless you, Marsh Neeland’s family. Send my prayers your way. And again, I just I just pray that God can allow Marshall Neand soul to find the peace that he so desperately needed here on this plane. I see you on the dance calling meaging me. Y’all use the check on me. Listen, listen listen. I’m still boys. Hey, I’m still boys. Uh-huh.

  1. Bro, I breathe Dallas Cowboys and I literally took the rest of the day off work. So f sad to hear this news and I legit feel like a family member passed. 🙏🏽
Prayers up to my boy & his family!

  2. Police said that Kneeland, 24, ran away during a traffic stop. During the search for Kneeland, officers said they received information that he had “expressed suicidal ideations.” He was found at 1:31 a.m. local time, “deceased with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,”.

  3. My prayers, thoughts, and heartfelt condolences to the kneeland family. Prayers for the player's and affiliates of the team in this dark hour. May His peace!!!# Cowboys fans grieve too!!!

  4. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Put your faith in His blood atonement crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection. He died for your sins. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

  5. Sad news fo' sho' stay strong folks. And it's real tasteless that we still have trolls on the Internet. Just God awful individuals that disrespect in during this sad time. I know folks hate cowboys but SHEESH!

  7. I hope he followed christ and will be waiting for him when he returns but I cant say he did i pray God forgive himself for what he did and that he asked for forgiveness Amen

  8. Tragedy, man so sad…we gotta be better, do better toward each other for the right reasons, it all start with having a relationship with God, show more respect, godly love and care for each other.

  9. He lost his Mother not too long ago…No one is immune to a Mental Health Crisis. We as fans often overlook that Professional Athletes are Humans who share the same real-life struggles especially psychologically. RIP to Marshawn Kneeland and his beloved Mother.

"Kneeland's mother died unexpectedly of an undisclosed illness in February 2024, two months before he was drafted by the Cowboys. Kneeland carried his mother's ashes with him in a necklace at all times."

  10. I’m sorry I’ve Suffered through Mental Illness my Entire life.
My life is at its Worst when The Lack of Money is when I’m at my lowest and trust me I Literally have everything possible.
For him to Shoot himself he did something much worse and we will find out in coming days.
Because he had everything a Kid grows up wanting to be a NFL player making Big Money. Nah he Killed somebody and it will come up in days to come

  11. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, the GOSPEL by which we are SAVED, JESUS CHRIST DIED for our SINS was BURIED and ROSE again on the third day! Grace through FAITH.

  12. So incredibly sad and heartbreaking! RIP to this talented young man and sending so many prayers to his family , girlfriend, friends, teammates and all across the NFL!!💙🙏🏽

  13. We the rightontyme gospel is praying for the kneeland family in this time of sadness, when we need to stick together and stay on one accord that God can help this family heal from this unexpected tragedy and also praying for family to endure in this time.

  14. Please don’t be scared to reach out to your loved ones for help. I myself keep everything bottled up and recently I have noticed that no amount of grinding no amount of hard music no amount of lifting weights is going to help. Talk to someone. Be vulnerable. You’re not a bitch you’re not a pussy you’re a human being with feelings.

  15. If the early reports are true, this sucks. Lost some friends to suicide. Please everyone ask for help if you feel like there is no way out. Condolences to his family, friends, and teammates.

  16. All you commentators and fans who take time to trash players and the team they are apart of , how important is it now. Not everyone is made of Steele and the cruel statements that are made could very well impact someone life and heart. Those of you how make all those cruel inhumane criticism against the Cowboys…shame on you because you could have played apart of this young man’s mind, spirit and heart falling apart which led to him taking his life.
How important is a playoff now or Super Bowl???? This is heartbreaking 💔

  17. Enough of that BS bro, no one cares until it’s too late. Don’t you think he tried to reach out to people before he passed? People now a days don’t care and have their own problems to deal with. Reaching out to people is wishful thinking.

  18. This is the second comment ive ever made on YouTube. I usually just watch and observe my favorite channels on here. Attack on Cowboys is by far one of my favorite channels to watch. Its part of my morning and evening routine. I am a Chef and I wake up early, my Wife and Daughter get up with me. I make coffee and tune into your channel. I like the way you cover the cowboys. You do such a great job with your content. Today is different. Today you covered the tragic passing of a young man with a bright future. I just wanted to come on here and say that the way you handled and covered this tragic loss was very moving. I appreciate watching your channel. Today you took my respect for you and your channel to another level. You're a Class Act. You're an amazing human being. Keep up the creative content. I love your energy, your attitude and everything about your channel. Suicide is a touchy subject and is handled with care. I think the way you handled this story was with Grace and a caring heart. Keep up the great work that you do covering our Dallas Cowboys……

    Sincerely,
    Chef Christopher Gorup
