You need to get a righty. 4.7 war last year is better than any Tigers bat. Better than Karp, better than Green. He would be the best hitter on the team. And if you think, well, was that like a fluke? No. The year before he had an eight war. He’s a triples machine, which would play well at Kameria Park. He’s a good fielder. only Torres and Torque walked more than him. He’s under club control for three years. Now you’d have to give up some of the precious the guys they weren’t willing to trade at the deadline. But yeah, man, like imagine a world where you traded for him and signed Bregman. There’s your righty. There’s your infield. There’s your outfield. There’s your two primo bats. Would you trade Scooble for Duran and another young piece? I I do believe you got to get something for him. Unless you keep McGonagal and Clark and all the precious. It really comes down to, okay, let’s just say you add Durant and you add Bregman and you keep Scooble, but you don’t extend him. But then if that was the only reason that you’d ever make moves, nobody would ever make moves. No, I I agree, but I’m just saying how realistic is it for you to go with it? You have to keep them then and you may lose him for nothing.
