[Underdog] Troy Franklin has just 6 less targets than Jaxon Smith-Njigba this season. Franklin has 523 less receiving yards than JSN.

  1. I know Troy makes mistakes and sometimes looks like he can’t catch (like last year), but most of it is on Bo at this point. I’ve seen enough.

Regardless though, we still need a legit WR1.

  2. JSN dwarfs Troy in YBC, whereas their YAC is about 40-50 yards apart.

Troy catches a lot of balls near the LOS…

  3. Both Bo and Troy are struggling. Defenses are clearly rolling coverage to Sutton and daring us to beat them with Troy Franklin and co. Getting upgrades at WR and TE need to be a priority this offseason

  4. Yeah good thing we didn’t get Jaylen waddle or Rashid shaheed. Real fucking amazing work, Sean.

  5. jsn is on pace to break the all time receiving yardage record, so, I mean, what would you expect?

  6. JSN is having a historical year in terms of efficiency. For example he on pace to  beat Megatron’s yardage record with 300 fewer routes run.

While I’m no Franklin stan, comparing him to JSN is just stupid

  7. Wowowowowowowowowowowow and its all cause they swear he a jump ball receiver lol same time bo is not dropping shit in the bucket lole darnold. They both got work to do lets go ducksss

  8. I really want Troy to be good… but I’m rapidly losing faith. I think Bryant should be getting more targets. He may not have the speed to get down field quite as much but he’s a better overall receiver and has waaaaay better hands than Troy.

  9. Wait, a 1st round pick is better than a 4th round pick? That’s wild. I never would have thought that.

  10. This is a Bo Nix stat, not Franklin. I love Bo, but he’s playing Franklin out of a job. If the opposing D put 11 defenders on Franklin Bo would run around and chuck it up to him. Franklin needs time to develop, but Bo throws it up him like he’s prime Megatron. Sean needs to take every route Franklin runs over 15 yards and save it for next year because as long as Franklin goes deep Bo is chucking a prayer.

  11. Last week was all “we shouldn’t trade for a WR, the young guys need reps!”

This week is shit on Troy week I guess.

  12. Darnold is also lowkey having an MVP worthy season while Bo is hitting the bottom of his sophomore slump. I am hopeful that he can turn it around since it’s only year 2 and we’ll have an even better cap/FA situation next offseason.

  13. Franklin is probably our best WR at getting separation but easily the worst at tracking the ball and finishing the catch. It’s just a talent gap and one we have to live with this season. WR and TE need to be addressed this offseason though, priority one imo
