I saw this on the Warriors sub. Nico should just buy him out. Klay signed to play with Luka to win another chip. He has kept quiet and kept things positive for his teammates after the trade. He actually shot 39% from three last season and refused to give up and was the leader who got them into the play-in spot last season.

Nico, you already betrayed an NBA legend. Don't betray Klay, buy him out and let him pick his next team.

  2. As a former Mavs fan who was excited to see him cook with Luka, trade him. He doesn’t deserve this bullshit and specifically came here to be a piece around Doncic.

    He’s miserable and no one can blame him. He got screwed.

  4. Different take – I don’t think it matters where he goes. He needs to get focused on his job and less on his personal shenanigans. He wasted a summer and is so distracted. I’m tired of his same spiel, “big things are coming, or whatever about the first few games, or few several bad games”. Get locked in.

    Also, I find it hard to feel bad for him. Was he sold on the fact the could potentially play with Kyrie and Luka? I know the Luka/AD trade was a shock, but I guess everyone is up for grabs at some point? I feel like you have to have that mindset of yes, I can play with these guys, but maybe there’s a chance someone gets traded, injured, etc. He’s gotten nothing out of Texas.

    This team has improved shot creation, ball handling, perimeter defense(everyone guarding their correct positions), shooting(via more open shots), and unlocks Cooper’s potential by 2x.

    Lebron plays it out, retires, then u rebuild around Cooper with no deadweight contracts. There’s nothing to lose.

    God it’s sickening to see what’s happened in the past year. Luka would have to face a career ending injury to save Nico at this point. But that doesn’t save him from doing to the trade to begin with.
