  17. It affected his legacy, people forget that he was dealing in that World Series except for game 5 in Houston. He had a 44% whiff rate on his off-speed stuff that year, but in game 5 he had a 2% whiff rate. Insane. He probably would have won WS MVP too which could have been an end to his post season choker status.

  19. The legend Nicholas Castellanos once said “the only opinions I care about are from those who carry the stick”. A lot gets lost in public opinion especially nowadays but I still feel the players opinions weigh the heaviest on this subject and that will always cast a doubt on the 2017 World Series, as much as some people want to try and move past it.

  25. Imagine if this year after a horrible city-wide disaster the dodgers decided to do a complex cheating scheme that tainted not only one of their titles but the reputation of every player and coach in their organization… thats what the astros did in 2017.

  36. This has triggered so many Astros fans on Twitter. Of course Clayton is going to be mad, his legacy was tarnished in part because of that Game 4. I know I’m still mad on behalf of the 2017 Dodgers not around for the 2020 championship, most especially Andre Ethier.

  42. I watched that G5 back the other day to see how I feel now that we’ve had a run. The one thing that stood out to me the most was just how HARD the Astros were showboating that entire game, now knowing that they were cheating the entire time. Just unreal.
