  1. The jays and the dodgers rocking 51 is beautiful. Baseball may be life, but life is bigger than baseball.

  2. Damn man!

No matter who you root for, this should hurt everyone in their feelings. Such heart break … RIP Sterling, RIP. 😢

  3. I saw the 51 on the side of the Dodger hats and thought, well that makes sense. Then I saw it in the Blue Jays hats, and it moved me to tears. I didn’t really have much against them prior to the series, other than the fact that they were the opposing team. But seeing this really made me see them in a whole new light. Dodger fans are thankful for such a beautiful gesture.

  4. So saddened by this update, peace and love to the Vesis family and the baseball community. Glad they have access to the best possible support at this time.

  5. Does anyone have the links to the children’s hospitals in Los Angeles and Toronto people are donating to?

  6. Baseball is a tight knit community and all the support that family got from not only the fanbases of both teams but all of baseball proved it.

  7. This was the day my son was born. Could hardly read the news, just terrible terrible terrible. Life is cruel. I’m holding my little guy so much closer.

  8. First off as a father can’t even imagine what they are going through. My daughter is my world so I can’t even think of it. But for the jays pitchers to do that just goes to show class acts with our pitching staff

  9. Hurts my soul, man. My son’s three and I couldn’t imagine ever losing him, even in eighty years.

Wishing the Vesia family the absolute best. 💙

  10. My heart goes out to them. I cannot imagine losing a child, let alone one that had such little time. Some shit makes zero sense.

  11. There are absolutely no words. I know we all saw this coming but the confirmation is just horrifying. Sending them all the love in the world 💖💞
