Tennessee Titans fan GOES OFF watching SVP absolutely trash the Titans
Tennessee Titans fans, it ain’t never been worse than it is right now. And the Tennessee Titans uh I think this video was before the Patriots game, but the Tennessee Titans obviously fired their head coach last week, SVP and Stanford. Steve are talking about the uh firing of Brian Callahan. And I’ve had some people tell me I need to check this out. So the Titans made a move at coach that four and 19 and just not getting any better that they’re the first team to make a decision there. That organization by the way welcomes Mike Vrabel who they decided they needed to do better than he’s he’s just bringing in the first place northern Patriots. What is that line this week? and somebody Patriots uh Titans because I’m telling you right now to the limit before they get into all this stuff. Regarding the firing of Rabbel years ago, I I was in favor of it then. I I was in favor of firing Mike Rael. I thought the Titans looked awful the last two years of Rael’s uh tenure. Um, but as I’ve said the last couple of weeks, you kind of lose the ability to even make that argument when you follow it up with one of the worst head coaching hires I’ve ever seen. You know, like no, if he can, he’s going to do everything he can. Okay, they’re laying What a sentence. If he can, he’s going to do everything he can. I mean, aren’t we all? Oh, if I can, I’m going to do everything I can. Seven and a hook. That’s actually That’s actually a little eye opening because that’s sort of that threshold number on the other side of a touchdown. Yeah, I’m I’m I’m assuming there’s no number for the Patriots that would be sufficient for coach Vel. He’s in a headsp space where vaves becomes vapes just from talking to him and knowing never mind that he not the time mezzanine full lower deck like it’s uh he he’s wary of where he’s going. Question. Great analysis. Great analysis right there from Stanford. He’s a competitor. Yes, sir. We always say forever we’ve been doing this right. head coach of jobs open NFL Tennessee. One of 32. One of 32. Is it really worth it? He wasn’t gonna win. You ask a reasonable question and I’m going to tell you the answer. No. The right job is the one to take. Look at Ben Johnson who won. More great analysis. The right job is the one to take. Yeah, man. Imagine getting a fortune cookie that says the right job is the one to take or a fortune cookie that says if you can do everything you can. Good stuff from these two. I like SVP. But on last night, he might have been in a not unique, but in an unusual situation where he was on a very good team as the OC of Detroit where he could afford to be patient and he passed on the cycle, not taking the Washington job that I believe Washington thought they had. I know what they’re getting at here. So, let me just say this. I will not allow the narrative to become poor Brian Callahan. This guy didn’t have a shot. I get why there’s a tendency to think that because the Titans have fired people and and the narrative is that they’re not patient. I I understand these two have not sat down and watched the Tennessee Titans. They have not sat down and really analyzed what’s going on with this team. I’m telling you right now, Brian Callahan was not an innocent bystander who was just a victim of his circumstance. Like, are you joking, man? Y’all know better than this. Well, you don’t. You actually don’t know better than this because you clearly haven’t been watching them. That’s the only way I can rationalize this stuff. When I watch clips like this, when I watch clips like Shannon Sharp and Oo Sinko talking about this, I have to just go in with the understanding they haven’t really watched the Titans and they’re only looking at they fired this guy, then they fired this guy, then they fired. And I know that the Titans organization screams incompetence, but the problem was not firing Brian Callahan. The problem was hiring him to start with. He was a bad hireer to start with and they should have fired him back in January when they fired Ran Carth on their GM and then brought in a new GM, new head coach, new quarterback all together. But they stuck. That was the problem. That’s where the incompetence came in. Firing him had to happen. And and for them to sit back and be like, “Oh, this poor guy. He just didn’t have a chance.” Like, no. Cam Ward’s the one that doesn’t have a chance right now. Brian Callahan put Cam Ward in that position. Had him four. which allowed Washington to get Dan Quinn and then he waited and then he got the Chicago job. And I think if you have the if you have the luxury of patience, you should wait for the right one as opposed to anyone because you go four and 19 in Tennessee and it looks the way it looked for him. How are you ever getting another head coaching job? You’re not. Well, that’s that’s on him, dude. Nobody did that to him. He He I could sit here and list all the things, but you if you’ve been watching my channel for any amount of time, you know what all the things are. Like, it’s on him. Like, why are we acting like someone did this to him? He did it to himself. I think he’s a good guy. I think he’s got a good football mind, but he was overwhelmed by this job from the start. It was a bad hire. And what what what do you you sit down in the interview across from the owner and they say, “Hey, man, what uh what was that?” Well, you throw the organization under the bus. That group of owners like thick as thieves. You start talking junk on them and they’re going to turn around and do their due diligence and go, “Hey, what was wrong with him?” And they’re going to, “Well, let me tell you.” So So that’s your answer to the question? Like it it must be the owner’s fault. I’m not here to defend Amy. There’s a lot you can talk about with Amy, but like why are we acting like Brian Callahan is just this poor pitiful guy who just who just victim of his circumstance. It’s like, are you kidding me? Guy didn’t know the rules week one. Didn’t know how to manage the clock. Offensive scheme is atrocious. And it’s not a personal attack on him. I think he’s probably a really good guy, but as a coach, like why are we acting like the 4 and9 record should be an indictment on somebody else other than him? So, I’m with you. I think if if you’re a coordinator, particularly if you’re a lifer, let’s say you’ve been at it and you’ve done it for a while and you get the opportunity, then yeah, you take anything you can get because there’s only so much time where you’re a commodity that’s viewed as being worthy of one of these gigs. And so if you’re on the back nine, Callahan wasn’t. He’s a young guy. So, no, it’s not one of 32. Any He should have done a better job. Like, if he didn’t want to be in this position, he should have done a better job. Maybe Callahan should have waited till he was ready cuz he clearly wasn’t. Will take it. Someone will take this job and convince themselves it’s a good one. But I mean, organizationally, they’ve run through GMs and coaches here like like a hot knife through butter. They brick top and snatch. Great accent. The two coaches and a GM in this window. Correct. Like it I I just wonder like I’d love to like is was it worth it? Because when you look back that’s um that’s the most recent thing on your resume. Yep. And I get it. It’s a fraternity and he’s a well-known guy, highly thought of and I just like it happens over and over and like we got NBA. Did they react this way when the Patriots fired Gerard Mayo after one season? Did they react this way to that? Did they Why are we acting like coaches never get fired? They’re literally acting like this is the first coach that’s ever been fired. It’s just unheard of. We’ve never seen a coach get fired in the middle of the season. Did anybody Did anybody harp this much on the Jets when they fired Robert Salot sooner in the season than than uh the Titans fired Callahan? I know the Titans don’t get the benefit of the doubt because they’ve made so many baffling moves. I understand. But like, does that feel a little unfair to just act like, “Oh, this is the job that’s so undesirable because they fired their co.” It’s like, I mean, like, what? Nobody ever fires coaches. Like, nobody ever fires coaches. I mean, Jacksonville hired Urban Meyer. They went Urban Meyer, Doug Peterson, Liam Cohen in a short period of time, but nobody said a word. It was like, well, of course, of course you have to Bears fire Matt Eberloose in the middle of Caleb Williams rookie year. It’s like, oh, of course. Titans do it and it’s just like, oh, these idiots, these dummies. Why would anyone want to go there? I’m Stanford’s team season coming up. You know what happens there when a team doesn’t start well? I It’s It’s just pretty in a world. There’s a difference in starting. There’s a difference in not starting well and not starting well. and the coach is playing an active part in the reason why. Like they want to paint this narrative that Brian Callahan was just this great guy who was doing a good job and and he was just part of a bad organization. He maybe he was part of a bad organization, but he was part of the reason why they were bad. Like I can’t take you guys seriously where you need so many things going right. Mhm. You get paid to win games. You get paid to coach these guys to play well and win games. You went 419. Nobody did that to you. You did that. I cannot believe what I’m hearing. Blindly say yes. Right. And you tell yourself, “We’ll figure it out.” But then if you’re in an organization where figuring things out isn’t what they do, then you end up in a spot like this. Like he what was it? Four and terrible. Four and 19. Terrible. They are terrible. They didn’t even get 25 games, which seems like a ridiculous window. It’s not enough runway to figure things out. I’m just telling you because of the ability to watch multiple games and they’ve been in that late window a couple of times where it’s just them and you’re watching like the Arizona game and the look what they needed to win a game. So, you’re admitting that they’re horrible, but then you’re acting like it’s unreasonable that they fired the coach. talking out of both sides of your mouth. You’re admitting they this team is terrible. They’re four and 19 over their last 23 games. Now 4 and 20 since then, since this video was made, but it’s laughable that they fired their head coach. Like what? Y’all don’t even know nothing about this organization. Y’all just talking to talk. the most preposterous series of miracles ever before witnessed. Fumbled touchdowns. A touchdown where they pick it, kick it, fumble it. I don’t even know that he caught it. Anyway, outside of that one miracle quarter against the Cardinals, it’s been three just they’re just terrible. I mean, we joke about poop time. Tennessee is awful. Yeah, awful. But they should have kept the cut. Look, we’re in the tank for Vable. So, if he goes in there and beats him by a lot, then it’s not going to make me sad. They’re in poop town, by the way, if you couldn’t tell. We’ll get there. Jets fan. Well, you you are definitely in the tank with Varel. You’ve always been in the tank with Vrael for some reason. He hates the media, but you guys literally your lips are attached to his cheeks. Um, that was just a bunch of nonsense. I mean, that that whole segment was just it hurt my brain. Um, and hurt my heart, too, cuz I like SVP. I And he’s right in saying the Titans are terrible. Like, I they are, but you just spent five minutes telling me how dumb it is that they fired their coach, but then you told me how horrible they are. So, which is it? There’s a lot of nuance part of this conversation. It sucks that they had to fire their coach in the middle of the season after only 23 games. But, I mean, the problem was not firing him. the problem was hiring him in the first place. And I’m willing to hear you out if you want to say the problem was firing Varel and you shouldn’t have fired Frabel. Yeah, I mean I’m willing to hear you out on that. But like it it just to act like first of all to act like this is not a desirable job. I understand maybe for a guy like Cliff Kingsberry, for example, who’s looking for his second chance as a head coach, it might be a little risky to put your second chance because a lot of coaches get second chances, but not a lot get third. If you’re Cliff Kingsbury, yeah, that might be a little intimidating to go to the Titans to try to revive your head coaching career, especially when he’ll probably be in high demand at some of the other places. But like overall, lots of cap space, high draft pick probably. I mean, I assume they’ll have a high draft pick, young quarterback with a lot of upside, new stadium coming, and Mike Borggoni is a respected GM. Like I understand the reservations that people might have regarding the way the Titans have gone the last few years, but like to to just sit here on your high horse and be like, “Oh, nobody’s going to want this job.” It’s like, “Okay, but I guarantee you, first of all, if the Jets fire Aaron Glenn at the end of the season, nobody will sit here and be like, oh man, that’s just so soon.” No, they’ll they’ll be like, “Oh, they had to do it. They had to do it. It’s just easy. Here’s the thing, guys. It’s easy to gang up on the Titans. They’re a small market team. In their mind, the Titans don’t have a lot of fans. Nobody cares about them anyway. Let’s just do our quick segment. Talk about how awesome Vrabel is. Laugh at the Titans and then we’ll move on. Like that’s the order has been restored though. You had those few years where the Titans were good and they didn’t know what to say because they don’t care about the Titans. Now the Titans are bad again and order has been restored. They can get back to not caring. They can go back to just snickering at the Titans and making them the butt of the joke and then moving on with their lives. The order has been restored for them. But um you know in my opinion and in most people’s opin to anybody who’s been paying attention which evidently isn’t anybody except Titans fans, the Titans have been horrible and the coach was a large part of the reason why he had to go. He was a liability. It was an emergency. He had to go. He was going to ruin Cam Ward. He was going to ruin him. Now, the organization’s a part of that, too, cuz they’re the ones that hired him. But to act like he’s just an innocent bystander is is insulting to the intelligence of the viewers. But the problem is most of the viewers don’t know anything about Titans either. So, they’re just fed all this misinformation and they just eat it up like candy because they don’t know any better and they’re too lazy to go look for themselves. Tighten

I'm a die-hard Bears fan so I know about a shity organization but if you get the right coach cam Ward will highly benefit from it.
Yes he's not a victim and now he's a millionaire
The Titans are simply a space for the media to throw players they don’t know what to do with when doing mock drafts. Otherwise, the team is entirely irrelevant. Callahan came on to a sinking ship and lit it on fire.
Everyone is kissing Vrabel's ass and conveniently ignoring the fact that 4 of their 5 wins are against the Titans, Saints, Dolphins and Panthers
Love your channel and takes man!
Idk I think they’re just pointing out Callahan put himself in a bad position taking a job coaching a terrible team that he knew had impatient ownership because now it’s a stain on his record that will be looked at every time he interviews for something different.. which really is a fair assessment
I get it… You’re a fan of the team so of course you’re going to be emotional. Callahan didn’t have a chance because this Titans team has been terrible. What were you expecting this team to do? And yes people were outraged when the Jets fired Salah. People reacted with disgust when Mayo got fired too.
SVP is the 737 of sports analysis. Been in service for years. Good at 37,000. Occasionally has a door open mid flight.
Dude the Titans are 10-38 since starting out 7-3 in 2022. Think about that.
John Robertson, Mike Vrable, Brian Callahan all needed to go! Ran Carthon we can argue was a little premature. But at the end of the day, I love what Amy Adams is doing! I think she’s a great owner that wants to win. And it’s trying to do everything she can to put the right people in place!
Callahan got hired for being Joe Borrows hype man and his Dad being the best O line coach. He proved he wasn't the right guy, and so did his Dad. Hopefully, Amy won't try to lowball purchase an offensive team again. Whisenhunt and Callahan proved she can't do that. Titanup!
Bahahahaha, I about fell out of my chair over that re-quote 🤣🤣🤣
Cam Ward has a better o-line and better weapons than Jaxson Dart!! THE KID HAS NO WEAPONS AND NO O-LINE and look at him in New York! Cam Ward is just Terrible! No pocket presence no ability to read defense and adjust to a better play and most of all HIS F@#KING MECHANICS ARE SO F@#KING BAD!!! HIS RECIEVERS CANT CATCH THE BALL BECAUSE HES THROWING IT 200MPH FFS!!!! HE SHOULDVE NEVER BEEN THE 1ST PICK PERIOD! HE HAS NO ELITE TRAITS NONE!!! I GET IT NO ONE WANTS TO ADMIT IT BUT THIS JUST SET THIS FRANCHISE BACK 5YRS!!! I GUESS THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET THE SPORTS MEDIA CONVINCE YALL THAT CAM IS ELITE!!! A FEW MORE WKS AND YALL WILL SEE AND THEN BE BEGGING FOR THE TITANS TO TRADE FOR SHEDEUR SANDERS!!!!
Head on down to New York and say that right job line to Aaron Glenn and see if he doesn’t know exactly what you’re talking about. Please go ahead and say there aren’t good jobs and bad jobs in the NFL. Half in a coma I could list ten HC jobs anyone would be stupid to take.
Bro really getting mad at everyone saying the Titans are incompetent and saddled Callahan with Levi’s before firing him five games into drafting Cam Ward lol
Yep, you’re right, everyone else is wrong
Jarod Mayo was an exception to the rule they let Bill stay awhile before making the change
saleh got three seasons
Stop drinking the kool aid man
I'm in the camp of firing a head coach sooner rather than later. For every Dan Campbell or Jimmy Johnson there are 10 Matt Eberflus's or Josh McDaniels' or Joe Judges, guys that sucked year 1 and then lingered around sucking more in years 2 or 3. If they haven't shown any improvement by year 2, fire em and try again, or if they're awful year 1, like Urban Myers or what looks like Aaron Glenn this year, show them the door.
They talk out of their rear end along with every single out of market media person in the nfl. They never gave king Henry his true respect until he left… they will always hate us whether we’re doing great or terrible.
Im Colts fan but love your channel man. Learn alot from ya in way.
When my Lions turned a corner and began winning games, I genuinely thought we’d be getting the same coverage as the Eagles and Chefs. Instead it was like you said – a bunch of people who don’t watch our games giving the laziest analysis that was based on guesses.
Genuinely I don’t listen to anyone else but you about the Titans bc I don’t think they’re watching the games.
The craziest thing about national sports coverage is that it’s so genuinely incompetent
Vrabel was a rockstar with a healthy o-line. Firing him was insane. He'll go on to become a great coach imo.
You are 100% correct. He shouldn’t have been hired to be fired. It’s on him. This is why I have stopped watching any discussions about Titans football that are outside of you, A to Z, Tyler, and the Zone. it’s clear they do not follow Titans football and don’t even bother to do research prior to providing an “analysis.” Two things can be true and as you said he may have been apart of a bad organization but he was apart of the reason why they were bad. Let’s be honest, Callahan was given a job by association—his dad and being tied to Burrow.
As a Patriots fan, thanks for letting Vrabel go.
