Drake Maye after the Patriots defeat the Falcons, earning their 6th straight win

[Applause] Patriots quarterback Drake May. This was a tough one down to the wire. What impresses you most about how this team finds a way to win when the pressure is on? You just said it right there. Find a way to win. You know, it’s not going to be pretty every time. Uh we definitely have a lot of things to clean up. I got to protect the football, but uh you know, congrats to our defense. They they won us the game. They kept playing. Um you know, never let up. You know, an extra point was a difference in the game. So, never let up and those guys uh play their butts off. Terrell Jennings had his first NFL touchdown. Stefon Diggs with his second with this team. Pop Douglas with a 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. How clutch were those guys? Yeah, it’s a new guy every week that’s making plays and that’s the that’s what our offense is. It’s uh it’s whoever’s open, whoever wants the ball. They all make plays. I’m just trying to give us the open guy. And uh like I said, our defense kept us in the game. Six wins in a row. How much fun are you having? How do you keep it going? You got to keep stacking, you know, every day. Um you know, was blessed to play this game. You know, salute the service week. So, shout out to everybody fights for our country. You know, they’re the real heroes and uh you got to get back at it next week. Congrats. Thank You can go past.

  9. Maye has now thrown for 200 yards, while keeping a 100QB rating in 8 games consecutively, which is the New record for a QB under 24 years old in NFL history. His 8 game streak now ties him for third in NFL history overall with Mahomes, and Peyton Manning. Only Tom Brady at 9, and Aaron Rodger’s at 12 have more consecutive games with 200 yards passing and a 100qb rating at any point in their career. Nuts to think he can Tie Tom’s streak next week.

  10. I absolutely love this kid. Yes, he didn't have a great game, but he still walks away with a W and always says the right things and has class. How can anyone not root this guy? He's only 23 too. Hopefully with more experience and a better O line he'll improve even more. His biggest weakness is still not taking care of the ball. He has to fix that.
