The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Chicago Bulls 126-110, improving to 1-0 in East Group C play while Chicago fell to 1-1.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with a dominant performance, posting 41 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and two blocks. It marked his 56th career 40-point game, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most in Bucks franchise history. Giannis also became the fourth player in NBA history to record at least 10 games with 40+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 5+ assists—joining Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, and Abdul-Jabbar—and was the first player this season to post such a stat line. Myles Turner added 23 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, knocking down five three-pointers.

For Chicago, rookie Matas Buzelis scored 20 points with eight rebounds and two steals, while Josh Giddey recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and 14 assists. With the win,
Milwaukee improved to 6-3 overall, while Chicago dropped to 6-2.

  19. Since Shaq, we haven't seen a guy bully people the way Giannis does. The only problem is that during the playoffs, he is going to be tired and teams are not going to "let" him get in the paint that much. So the bucks success will be based on people hitting threes. The bucks need a better Chris Middleton. Someone who doesn't need the ball much but when he gets it, he can dominate ISO plays efficiently.

Everybody so up wemby ass rn they forget that this big MF still healthy and still hungry, wemby got a do at least what Giannis has done in the next few years for me to even get in on on any hype. Bruh lead Milwaukee to a chip no other major star, got a MVP after being challenged to do so, and consistency puts up numbers like these. So to me Giannis is still the bar every other big man rn gotta chase .

    Wemby also having his best season so far. But he will probably fall short of these 4 unless they get injured.
