[JK] BAN OR ATLEAST CALL THE MUTHER FUCKIN HIP DROP TACKLE!

  1. My understanding is it’s very hard to spot it in real time which is why they opted to not even try and instead issue fines after the fact

  2. If they want it called accurately in games it needs to be subject to automatic review from the booth, and I think they should do the same to helmet to helmet and QB slides on any questionable play

Officials have pretty much acknowledged they can’t call it reliably. Considering the penalties they already call that are subjective and completely uneven I don’t think we should add another to the mix

  3. It’s rare that the guy who got injured is the one to have to call out the bullshit that got him injured.

  4. Orrrrr we could let defenses play defense again! You’ll be fine JK. Get off the phone and back in the trainers room.

  5. J.K.’s right, of course. But I gotta say, I went back and looked at his last four carries last night and I didn’t see anything you could describe as a hip-drop tackle. Perhaps it happened earlier in the game, but I fear this is one of those injuries he played on without realizing it was serious (difference between “hurt” and “injured” is so subtle) and then it swells up the next day.

  6. Jonathan Cooper had a hip drop scope too and it wasn’t called so it evened out. Jk will be fine.

  7. What happens to our running game if JK is out against KC? I know we have Harvey but he’s more of a receiver. Is there someone we can sign as a free agent?

  8. Call this one from the booth. If you’re caught doing it you’re assessed a 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct and if you do it again you’re ejected.
