Call aside, you need to score on empty net shots. When your goalie had the best look at an empty netter, maybe you need to reevaluate life.
Was it goaltender interference? 100%
Would it have gone in anyways? Almost for sure.
Biggest argument for this now is what’s the point of a rule if it ends up being a judgment thing anyways. Either the goalie was interfered with or they weren’t. The wishy washy grey area ruins games. Just look at the NFL when every play is in the grey area and up to the refs to decide if they feel like it.
As if the blues needed to be robbed like that on top of everything that’s going wrong since the beginning of the season.

Am I just not seeing enough contact? I feel like with these replays, I don’t see anything that’s GI. Anyone have a link to something better by chance? Or explain from what we see that makes it so? I’m not saying there isn’t any or wasn’t any, just not understanding what constitutes it as GI here.
Recovering from taking the GF to Devils-Pengs game today, apologies in advance (she’s the NJ fan, I’m just a spoiled Blackhawks fan.) Maybe I’m just out of it.
Surely this is the most devastating game-tying buzzer beater goal against the Blues in 2025 right?
I was at this game three rows back. For fucks sake that was a disgusting game to watch.

People act like the blues lost from one call that could have gone either way. Be critical on play that matters to the team, not because a call didn’t go your way.
