NHL Highlights | Ducks vs. Golden Knights – November 8, 2025

and he’s back in there tonight. Your opening face off is sponsored by the Richard Harris Law Firm. Golden won all four against Anaheim a season ago, but the Ducks of course could not sustain it and route the falling 6-3. Most goals have allowed in regulation this season. Riley Smith now William Carlson across and a back hand. A save made by Barazza. Taking care of the Pacific Division business with the rebuilding Ducks, the rebuilding Sharks over the years. The Golden Knights have 28 wins all time against San Jose. 27th against the Ducks. And Hannah lead pass on the money to William Carlson. Leo Carlson blocked the pass. Now they battle to the blue line. While Bill driving in deep on Mikov who’s it out in front score Hen on the feed from William Carlson and Hen slams it home. It’s one- nothing Vegas [Music] comes out of the neutral zone. William Carlson with good patience, great vision. I love that they had the double layers in this slot. Low slot, high slot. That’s to make sure that goes to the low slot. Howen makes no mistake. And the Golden Knights fifth time this year they have the most goals in the league. They don’t they’re ever out of it. They go right back at the attack. Senica with a lead pass. Here’s Cutter Goceier. Rice shot. That’s off the post. He can shoot it and the Golden Knights with the lead. Kar goceier that close to tying it. Almost had another one. Player of the week in the NHL. Zelwiger lets it rip. Save Schmid. He freezes it. Have Brett. Three goals on the year. Off this face off. Jacob Troua keeps it in front of the line. Wrist shot saved. Schmid bobbled it briefly but was able to hold for the whistle. January of 2022 came into today’s games at top the Pacific. White cloud a drive and a save made by Morazzic. Rebound cleared by Zelwiger Senica. Noah Hannipin around the wall. Puck held in by McAvish. Short feed to Zelwiger. Wrist shot safe. Schmidt off him and out of play. He and Moore back on it. Taken away by Pavore Finn. There’s hurdle open Sean the save real good look in deep squeezed by Hen Rio Carlson Crider long drive kicked out by Schmidt all the way to hurdle leads the attack for Vegas into the offensive zone rolls up on the wall finds sod puts it on net a save made by Morazzic off the mask in three years he seems to meet on three occasions Golden Knights will be in Anaheim two weeks from tonight he’ll be back there and 1st of February right before the Olympic break. Tap score gone from the slot. Zelwagger threw it in front that got deflected by Patronto tie the game. Just a rim gets put to the net. Both teams have been successful just putting pucks to the net. There’s Zelwiger, another one of their young defenseman. And Vrono is moving away from the net but deflects it back towards it obviously to tie this one up. We have Toronto and his career with the Golden Knights and Peter Morazzic came over in that trade for Detroit. We just saw John Gibson here earlier in the week. Dozen years for Gibson was the longest current tenure duck and Baing goes on. A lot of heavy work in the corner. Hen feeds it for Corzac on dishing it. Howen the Smith and a save for Isac. He came across to Rob Riley Smith that time. The pass from Howen the Smith and shot it back in the direction of Arasic. Leo Carlson into the offensive end. Hannipan with the pressure on him. Now Hen on the wall. The Golden Knights so far in the home stand have scored seven goals. Carlson coming in a back hand and he scores. Leo Carlson found a little daylight. He has points and nine in a row now. And Anaheim has the lead. That puck doesn’t get out. Everybody’s gone. All of a sudden, your defenseman’s flatfooted. And Carlson showing some tremendous hands. Flatfooted. Not much you can do. Nobody saw the quick backhand roof coming. Ducks take the lead. Yeah, the Golden Knights are jammed up on the boards. They’ll lob it out. Zwinger rink wide to Chris Crryder. Carlson with speed. Head shot. Smid bottled off the left. Oh, and Carlson put it back through the crease track by Hurdle. But here’s Elwinger into the slot. Slapped it wide. able to keep it in along the wall toward field there too with Leo Carlson. His shot score and broke through Schmid. Second of the night, second of the period for Leo Carlson to make it 3-1 Anaheim. So second goal turnover at your own blue line. This time you don’t come up with the puck off the half wall. Goender doesn’t come up with it under the pad. deflected down. Not sure if that played a part in it. I do know it played a part in it. Should never have come off the wall in your own zone for the opposition with that much ice. They lost it all. The Golden Advantage for the second time tonight. [Applause] He’s kept kept up his end of the bargain thus far in this one. Both those wins on the road in San Jose and Boston and to go to 3-0 on the road this year. Dor with the rush and he scores. There it is. Pora snaps it in. His 10th of the season. It’s on the power play. It’s a onegoal game. And it continues faceoff win. And he’s been getting the puck, calling his own number a lot tonight. hard on the puck in the open ice and again this time he doesn’t dust it off too long finds the back of the net. We got ourselves a hockey game. Yeah, his initial pass got blocked. Came right back to him and he took over from there. That was trying to find some room. Reinhardt there too. Closing on him was Truma. McNab with the point. Wide open rush shot on a save. Morazz feed that up front with Senica. Loose puck to Mner. Martner’s on the move. Martner trying to break in and he missed the net. trying to go to the left side of Morazzic. Hurdles 11 and three on the dot as well tonight. Michael a chance and a save. Morazzic on a bang bang play. Porzak across the seam. Michael little overcommitted on one play early in the first period but since then the Golden Knights chased him here as a member of the gave up five goals in the first period. Right. Mcome off the draw. 29 of 31 in terms of savings. Unofficially right now. I say that unofficially. Archae Corach scores. Kayen Corzac from the spot and the Golden Knights from two down in the third period to tie it. It’s Kaden Corzac finds the back of the net. trending in the right direction. As Mi said, the team keeps putting the pressure on. Jacks at the net. Three guys follow him. Nobody takes Corzac and he catches second of the season. The only defenseman with a goal get this year for the Golden Knights. Barber the return feed to battled away by Trouba. Puck Lewis Warner looking down low. Michael trying to beat the clock and he got blocked in the corner. Solid as he’s been, wasn’t overly tested in that third period. Surges some of momentum right each way. Pretty consistent in his approach, but you know what you’re going to get from Schmid. Theodore move it out. Wants it to Terry. Carlson cuts out high. Trouba back door trying to cut it for the back hand and he scores. Now the turnover cost the Golden Knights in overtime. And they had all the best chances until Jacob Trouba won the game for the Ducks. There’s the turnover. Double team by the Ducks [Applause] with that long reach. Got it there quickly to the top of the crease. Just slid it between the pads. [Applause] Transportation. Well, self-inflicted on the Golden. Yeah. Again, it’ll be one of those nights where they talk about the things it could have been. A lot of the goals they gave up, they had it on their stick at some point. Now, you think of the chances as well that they had in overtime. [Music]

Leo Carlsson added a goal and three points to his season tally, Jacob Trouba buried the overtime winner, and the Anaheim Ducks took a 4-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

  1. While hockey world goes gaga over Bedard and Celebrini, Leo Carlsson silently plays the superior two way game than both of them while also producing at the same rate in ppg as those two

  2. Sixth straight win, Ducks are flying high. My lowly Canucks were also playing so I spent the evening watching both games at the same time, lol. Canucks won, Ducks won, deadmonton coilers got blown out. Just beautiful.

    Down with the coil!

  3. What a great start to the season. I have confidence our boys will keep it up; winning is a great motivator! They're beating really great teams, too.
I don't know if anyone can stop the Avs train, though
    Go Ducks!

  4. Ey, how can we be the most box office team in the League if we don't concede a lot of goals to go along with our #2 scoring???? Now we can't play like this in the playoffs, but for the regular season- enjoy the show neutrals. GOOOOO DUCKS!!!!!!
