  1. That’s the sort of passion that we all get excited about, and then when we destroy his development he turns on us and all of that infectious energy gets used against us (and rightfully so)

  2. Jets will draft him. He’ll go 8-26 and last two seasons in New York. We’ll trade him for peanuts to a team like the Niners and he’ll go on to win 2 Super Bowls, a couple league MVPs, throw for 60k yards and end up in the HOF after a 14 year career. Time is a flat fucking circle as a Jets fan…

  3. I see he likes using a lot of rehearsed cliches. Wait till he has to deal with Connor Hughes’ albino-gorilla looking face everyday, it’ll wear him down and we’ll get a REAL interview out of him.

  4. This will be unpopular, but as a now 37 year old, who grew up playing sports and also served in the military, this comes across as very immature. I get the kid is still in college, but it seems more performative than genuine, which tells me 3 things:

    1. He is not ready to lead grown men. This type of attitude will also not earn him respect.
    2. Does not seem to have a mind of his own, just regurgitates what someone taught him.
    3. Instead of saying something simple like “seeing how hard those guys work and what they sacrifice, inspires me to do the same and be right there to fight with those guys and give my all to the team”, his way over the top answer screams lack of confidence.

I’m calling it right now, unless this guy has the arm talent of Dan Marino, he is not going to pan out in the NFL. Especially not in the NY media market. I would stay as far away as possible if I were the Jets.

So what number do you think Mougey will assign him?

  5. All of these QBs are walking red flags with their game. Hopefully Mougey realizes it and doesn’t go QB this year

  6. Lot of jets fans in the comments saying he’s gunna fail, that’s how you know this kid is a future star in the NFL.

  7. both him and his brother are like this they come from a strong minded family, Even if he takes a couple years to develop the ny media will not break him I’m sure of it.

  8. This guy I think is the real deal. If we draft him, I hope Jet coaching doesn’t ruin him

  9. Here is the issue I have with people bringing up Darnold and Wilson. At least this guy is actually winning right now at the college level. We took both those other QBs who had promise but never actually won at the college level. I know it’s only been one year but he’s winning. Drafting a winner and not a project could actually be beneficial. Especially if Indiana goes deep this year and he gains some experience playing in meaningful games.

  10. This dude is legit. I don’t think we will get him bc we are the jets and dumb shit happens. But I think he’s special

  11. I can’t wait to draft this dude. We gotta sit him for a year or two while we get the offensive line really seemed up. Sit him behind a veteran a-la Flacco, Brisset, Cousins, etc.
