  1. Haha he was fuming I also liked his answer about not letting them flush it we as fans gotta do that but u need this loss in the back of ur mind especially since ur playing even a worst team in Charlotte

  2. “Never underestimate the heart of a team that could’ve had Luka!”

    -Rudy Tomjanovich

  3. Going down 25+ at any point of a game comes down to quitting and not playing hard. Glad he said that you don’t flush this game down the toilet. Having a “flush it and move on” mentality is why you get fucked over in the last weeks of the season when the 3-10 seeds are only a couple games within each other.

Daily fuck Darvin Ham and his PR-ass marathon quote

  4. I don’t know if I could tell in the first two minutes but it didn’t take long to see the energy and desire to compete just wasn’t there.

  5. Ppl are going to blame him for not trying to make a run at the 4th with the starting lineup. You tell me who other than Marcus smart deserved to be out there over the 2nd unit based on the performance tonight. Sure our offense was weaker, but at least the second unit got hands up and contested.

  6. Some losses are good losses. Getting the shit kicked out of you by a team of role players after a bunch of big wins- it’s a come down to earth moment. Hopefully it gets us locked in on defense because we did not give a shit tonight and it showed.

  7. Losses will happen, but not this way. We can’t lose like this when teams better players go out.

  8. Honestly this is part of JJ I truly like but also feel long term can be a detriment to the teams growth.

I get his fiery competitiveness and hating losing more than the joy of winning but at a certain point he needs to be the adult and leader who owns up to things and doesn’t just say we suck and walk away.

He’s still got a bright future ahead of him coaching the lakers and I wish him nothing but success but I hope he also recognizes that he has some more coach maturity he needs to develop in these moments.

  9. I did the same. Turned it off a few minutes into the 3rd. Seems like Lakers turn into South Bay every time I find time to watch them. I’ve seen 4 games and 3 of them were losses.

  10. He shouldnt be i know lakers no reaves and no lebron but giving up 100 points in first 3 quarters to a hawks team on a second of a back to back and down 4 starters is pathetic. They should have trouble scoring 100 total with those guys out. Dunk layup city and 3 after 3 wide open zero defense all night and 3rd quarter team got sloppy to

  11. JJs been doing great but I think he’s gotta work on this part of his job.

He throws a fit with the media way too much. It comes off performative and doesn’t have an impact because he does it so often.

  12. Going down early to a team with No NAW, KP, Jalen Johnson, and Trae Young and you get blown out? It’s a very disappointing loss that flashes back to the bad losses to the East teams they had last year

  13. JJ is not good with the press. I would hate to interview him. People wanna hear what he has to say but he doesn’t really dish. He acts like he hates the press. He’s cold and short. Getting tired of him hiding behind anger. Izzo gets pissed but he still dishes and answers to the press and everybody loves him.

  14. I wouldn’t be happy either, it’s good he realized the starters were ass today and played the bench for all of the fourth

  15. So bizarre. They played their ass off when they had a stacked schedule then they got a few days break and came out like molasses. You’d think getting rest wd boost their energy levels but I guess not

  16. JJ put more effort into that press conference than the whole team put on the court tonight.

  17. ‪“I realised that in first two minutes of the game”
    “Nothing”
It feels like he is trying to be fake tough guy

  18. I think there is a reason why we see trap game so much in the NBA.

I think not able to game plan against other team bench is a real thing.

And of course players are human, they have trouble getting up for bench opponents mentally.

But honestly we should have tried to press and trap from the jump. Make these bench players make tough decisions.

The players did play with lack of energy but also felt like they played with lack of goal too.

If the coach staff set the tone from the jump by implementing more aggressive pressure, I think the whole dynamic of the game would change.

  19. I don’t know exactly why, but I love his intensity and the way he is pissed when their performance doesn’t match his (or the teams) expectations.

He is a bball nerd, he takes this shit serious and doesn’t try to sell you anything or find fancy responses for things he needs to first process himself or with his staff.

    Edit: typos

  20. Good the game shouldn’t be a flush, got fucking bums beating us by 20+, idc ar and Bron are out this is fucking terrible and right now shows we are no where near ready for a playoffs run
