HUGE NFL Trade Rumors Centered Around The Texans Ft. De’Von Achane, Evan Neal & Mark Andrews

Coming up, I give my thoughts on everyone I’ve seen linked to the Texans in a trade article via ESPN. We’re going to go through everybody because reminder, the trade deadline is coming up November 4th, this coming Tuesday, 400 p.m. Eastern time. That is the deadline when teams need to put their trades in by past that no trades allowed during this NFL season. I’m going to be ranking these different trade ideas basically on my my thoughts of the validity of it from zero to four Toro heads. If you’re brand new to the channel, this is how it works. If I give something zero heads or fake news, not happening. If I give something four Toro heads, it is going down. So, you can see the in between. That’s how I’m going to rank all these trade ideas, all these trade rumors on today’s program. And you need another reason to subscribe. A lot of these trades come via ESPN Plus articles. And who’s got $120 to spend on ESPN Plus per year. Don’t do that. 0 a year to hit that subscribe button here on Texas Today. And I promise you, I’m going to be breaking down everything that you’re going to see on ESPN Plus. You don’t need to waste your time with an ESPN uh ESPN Plus article. I’ll be breaking down everything they say here on the channel. Another reason why you got to hit that subscribe button. We are the most costefficient and the most active channel here on YouTube. So, if you love the Houston Texans, it’s a no-brainer. Go down and hit that subscribe button. All right, let’s get into maybe the most popular name around the Houston Texans. Everybody’s talking about it. Marcus Spears spent three or four minutes talking about it on ESPN just the other day. Bree Hall, the Jets running back. I’m gonna only give that two Toro heads. I’m going to say a 50/50 shot. I could see it happening. I could also see, you know, recent reports that the Jets after a couple really good games by Bree Hall, they might want to keep him in New York and keep him there for the long term. Obviously, a lot of people want the Texans to get a running back. And Bree Hall, he’s been a popular name. The Jets, they have been awful this season. And for a guy in the last year of his contract, if the Jets don’t want to extend him, if they don’t want to give him another contract, it makes sense in that run as well. The Texans could definitely use some more firepower. Even though I really do like Woody Marx, Bree Hall is a popular name, but depending on what the Jets want to do, if they want to extend him, obviously not bearing well for a trade for Bree Hall, but if not, I think the Texans might be one of the top teams in the running for Bree Hall. Let’s go to the next running back on the list, Devon Achan. And it’s funny cuz I know he’s sitting about 5t away from me on the other side of this wall. Our Dolphins host Nick Rolloff. When I asked him, Devon Achan, what is the possibility? He basically told me, “Go after yourself.” Devon Chan is not getting traded. So, I’m only going to give it one Toro head. It has been mentioned by a couple people, but doesn’t really make sense for the Dolphins, right? He’s been one of the lone bright spots for them this season. And I know what you’re looking at. 107 carries, 539 yards, three touchdowns. You’re like, “Okay, that’s decent.” But he is maybe the best pass catching back in the NFL right now. Probably even more effective than Christian McCaffrey through the 2025 season. He also has two years left on that rookie deal. So, I don’t think the Dolphins are going to move on from a Devon Han. It’s a fun name and it’s, you know, a name that gets a lot of people excited. Obviously, played at Texas A&M. would be somewhat of a homecoming if Han did get traded to the Houston Texans. Even though they’re down in the dumps and everybody’s saying Dolphins fire sale, I don’t think Han is going to be one of the fire sales that they’re going to give away. Also, let’s look at one more running back, Jerome Ford. And I know y’all are not going to be happy with this. If the Texans do trade for a running back, I do think it will be a guy of a Jerome Ford stature. I the Texans, they don’t want I don’t think they want to, you know, invest heavily in that running back back spot. There’s still a ton of question marks around Joe Mixon. So, what’s the perfect medium of that? Getting a guy like Jerome Ford. Somebody who’s showing you he can be a good running back in this league can be a good part of a, you know, kind of tandem of guys. And that’s kind of what the Texans are more looking for of a Jerome Ford style running back, right? They already have Quinc Junkin in Cleveland. They already have Dylan Samson in Cleveland. There isn’t really room for Jerome Ford. So, the Texans Nick Cacero could easily come swoop in and you’ll see some more Browns in this video later on. The Texans and Browns have a good working relationship even after the Texans absolutely fleece them in that Deshun Watson trade. Even after all that, after all that, they still want to work with the Houston Texans. So, Drum Ford, out of all the running backs, I think that could be the name that the Texans fans should look closely at. Now, I gave you three running backs, and running back has been a hot name around the streets whenever you talk about Texans trade rumors. Let me know, though, any player you want the Texans to trade for. Try to be somewhat realistic. Obviously, we’re not going to get a Patrick Mahomes. We’re not going to get, you know, a JSN, names like that. But let me know within reasonable doubt, within within reason, give me a name you think the Texans should trade for before the NFL trade deadline. Go down in the comments section and let me know right now. Next up, let’s look at some tight ends. David and Jooku. I actually mentioned this and I talked with our Browns host Jod about possibly the Texans looking at a guy like David and Jooku. They signed off of the Texans practice squad. Brendan Bates, another tight end. They have four active guys on their roster already and Harold Fannon Jr. the rookie has looked fantastic. Still only going to give this one two Toro heads because David and Jooko, he’s a good player. And as aggressive as Nick Cacerio is and kind of the label that Cacerio gets, I’m just not sure whether or not he’s going to make a splashy inseason move. He makes his splashes in the NFL draft, moving up, moving down, and kind of trading draft picks. But when it comes to, you know, getting splashy guys, the biggest name that he’s gotten has been CJ Gardner Johnson. That didn’t really work out for this Texans team. I would love a guy like a David and Jooku. Kind of underutilized in Cleveland this year, but adds another tight end threat. And we know Nick Kaye, he was a tight end’s coach with the Rams, with the Patriots before he became the Texans offensive coordinator. I think a big part of this offense kind of stalling out in the beginning of the year is the lack of talent in the tight end room. They were looking at guys like a Brevin Jordan, like a Kate Stove who might return, you know, in the coming month or so from that hairline fracture he uh suffered in week one. I would like David and Jooku. I’m only going to give it two Toro heads, though, cuz I’m not sure if Nick Cacerio is ready to make a splashy move like that. But with the Browns, maybe that gives him an avenue to get a good deal on a guy like in Jooku. Let’s look at another name in Mark Andrews. And this one, I was going to give it fake news. I wasn’t sure, but I talked with our Ravens host Joey Peterson, and he said the Ravens would probably be willing to move on from Mark Andrews for not a lot right now. They like their young guy in Isaiah likely. And Mark Andrews would definitely add another receiving threat for this Texans team. Not even, you know, not even the tight end labeled, but just another receiving threat. I think Mark Andrews still has a lot left in the tank. I know a disappointing end to last year for him in the playoffs where he had a couple big drops. I really do like Mark Andrews though and his fit in this Texans offense. The one thing is would he come in and be the tight end one over Dalton Schultz? He’s actually had a pretty decent year or would it be a lot more two tight end sets? We’ve seen Harrison Bryant in that role. Would they go a lot more two tight tight end sets with Mark Andrews and Daltton Schultz if this happened? And what would the trade compensation be for a Mark Andrews? He’s on the last year of his deal. Would he want an extension from anywhere that he goes? Or would he just rather stay with the Ravens and then test free agency after this season? I don’t think it’s very likely. That’s why I’m only going to give it one Toro head. Let’s look at another guy in a possible fire sale in Tennessee. Chigga Conquo, the tight end for the Tennessee Titans. I’m also going to give this one two Toro heads. I would give it more if it wasn’t an inner division trade. And I’m not saying it’s impossible to trade in division. We’ve seen it before, but we know the Titans, they’ve already come out and said anybody besides Cam Ward to Jeffrey Simmons, they’re on the table. Could Chick Aquano be on the table? Possibly. I would only want to get him for a later round pick, possibly a seventh, maybe a pick swap action with the Texans and the Titans. Um, kind of the same things that I’ve said before, right? The Texans, they definitely need more tight end help. We don’t know when Kate Stove is going to be ready from that injury. They just lost a guy in Brennan Bates who they had elevated to the active roster for a couple games in a row now. They need to fill that void. They obviously signed another practice squad player in Dalton Keane. I don’t know if the Texans necessarily trust him to be on the active roster or give you anything on game day. If not, why not go ahead and trade for a guy like an Aonquo or like an Injoku before the NFL trade deadline. Now, coming up, maybe the most popular position that everybody wants me to talk about when it comes to trade rumors, and I have a lot of guys we’re going to talk about on the offensive line, cuz looking in our live chat right now, reminder, we go live every Wednesday at 3:30 Central time. Um, a lot of people were naming offensive linemen. I’m going to get into those names in just one moment, but today’s show is presented by Prize Picks. The hard-hitting football action is even better with Prize Picks. The weather might be changing, but feeling right that never gets old. So, keep the season rolling on prize picks by getting $50 instantly in lineups when you play your first $5. Price fix is super simple. Just pick more or less on at least two player stats. If you get your picks right, you could cash in big time, baby. And Price Pix, the only app that offers stacks, meaning you can pick the same player up to three times in the same lineup. Want to pick more on Josh Allen’s pass or rush yards? maybe kind of like I did CJ Strad pass and rush yards. And Strad, one thing he’s done much better this year is evading sacks and using his feet to pick up first downs. Last week had more than 30 rushing yards up against San Francisco. Can he do the same thing up against a much better defense in Denver? I think so. So, I’m going the more on his passing and rushing yards. I’m going the less on Courtland Sutton receiving yards and JK Dobbing rushing yards. You can use my lineup or go ahead and make your own. Just do it with our friends over at Prize Picks. Join the millions of users and sign up for America’s number one fantasy sports app today. Download the Prize Pix app and use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. All right, this is what everybody’s been waiting for. offensive line. Let’s go through it right now. First up, Wyatt Teller. Will the Texans make a move for the Browns guard? I’m going to give it one Toro head. I I think it’s a possibility. I I mean, I don’t think it’s impossible for the Texans to look at a guy like a Wyatt Teller, but out of all the guys on the Browns offensive line, all the, you know, possible trade targets for the Texans, I think Wyatt Teller might be the hardest to acquire. He’s still young, under the age of 30, and still playing at a good level. If you’re the Browns, why would you want to get rid of a piece like that, right? Like, if you’re going to extend anybody, if you’re going to look to keep anybody, probably want to keep the younger player that’s playing really well. Not that the Texans wouldn’t have interest in Wyatt Teller, but I don’t know if the Browns would be willing to let go of Wyatt Teller unless they get a really good offer. Whenever I say a really good offer, probably round a third round pick. I don’t think a second round pick would be warranted for Teller, but you never know what the Browns would want in exchange for his services. That’s why I’m only going to give it one Toro head, but he’s not the only Browns offensive lineman that we’re looking at on today’s video. Joel Batonio, could he possibly be on the trade market for the Houston Texans? I’m going to give this one a slightly better chance. I’m going to give this one two Toro heads and say, you know, it could happen, namely because he is a little bit older and I think this actually works out for both teams, right? He’s a little bit on the older side. Believe he’s 33, going to turn 34 this year. And playing really good. Eight games played, zero sacks. And that fits the Texans win now mentality if they go out and make a move like this. Because if you want to make a move, you’re not getting Joel Batonio for, you know, the next three to four years. I hopefully they’re going to be taking a lot of offensive linemen in the next couple years. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge, Nick Cacerio. Maybe you should draft more than one O lineman in a draft class when that’s your biggest need. Not going to go too far on that, but Joel Patonio would fit the timeline for this Texans team. I think he would come in immediately. He’d be able to help. And we already heard from Nick Chub this off season that Nick Kayley runs a very similar offensive play calling style to what they did with Kevin Stfansky in Cleveland. So Bonio hopefully could come in maybe help that left guard spot that we’ve been seeing a turn style between Juice Scrugs and Lake and Tomlinson and solidify that spot and that could really help this Texans team. Let’s look at yet another Browns offensive lineman. There’s a fire sale in Cleveland, Ethan Posich. Actually going to give this one fake news though because I have seen Posich put in certain articles. I just don’t think the Texans would go for a center. namely because they’re very, you know, I, how do I want to put this? Relationships matter a ton to this Texans team. And nobody has a better relationship with the coaching staff probably than Jake Andrews. He was brought in off of waiverss from the New England Patriots, but he was actually with Cole Papovich, the Texans offensive line coach with his time at Troy. So those two guys go way back. And we like to say, “Oh, there was definitely a, you know, position battle at center this off season. It was anybody’s job.” But was it anybody’s job? Was it always Jake Andrews’s job to lose because of his connections with Cole Papovic? I think so. So, I don’t believe that the Texans would go ahead and trade for a center. If they’re going to trade for any offensive lineman, it is going to be a guard for that left guard spot. They are rotating in Juice Grugs and Lincoln Tomlinson. They’re not doing that with Jake Andrews and Jared Patterson. And Jared Patterson, I think, is a pretty decent center. I’m not saying he would be a top 10, top 15 center, but he’s shown he’s been good and serviceable with the Texans in the past. With all that being said, they like Jake Andrews, so they’re not going to trade for a center. I think if they’re going to trade for any offensive lineman, it’ll be a guard. Let me know down in the comments section. We’re talking about offensive lineman. I actually have three more O linemen that we’re going to get to on today’s program, but let me know line. Is it better or is it worse from last year? Let me know down in the comments section. Give me a B for better. Give me a W for worse. What do you think compared to last season? Is this offensive line, have they truly gotten better or have they taken a step back? Let me know what you think down below in the comments section. Next up, Kevin Zitler. Another member of the Tennessee Titans and possibly a part of that fire sale. Because of that, I’m going to Toro Heads. Obviously, everything that I said about Chig Aonquo, you can kind of copy and paste about Kevin Zitler, but he was somebody who I wanted the Texans to sign this off season coming from that Lions uh offensive line last year. He was really good, but he’s up there in H. And same thing I said about Joel Patonio, he kind of fits the Texans win now mentality. If he can come in and help, if the Texans think that he’s a better option than a Juice Grugs or a Lake Tomlinson, go for it. obviously having somewhat of a down year this year. Seven games played, three sacks allowed, but that’s also with the Titans team that has not played well at all. So, if you have better players around him, maybe Zitler plays a little bit better with this Texans team. I could see the Texans at least inquiring about him, especially if it would only take a late round pick to acquire him. Next up, Evan Neil, the offensive lineman for the New York Giants. I’m actually going to give this one three Toro heads. I think out of all the offensive lineman that I’ve talked about, Evan Neil, I think would fit with what the Texans are looking at because they’re not, like I said with Nicasio, he’s not a splashy GM. He’s not going to go out there and I see people in my chat saying, “We want Jaylen Wadd. We want these, you know, splashy guys.” I don’t think the Texans are going to go for that. If they’re going to go for somebody, they go for a guy like Evan Neil. He hasn’t played a single game this year. was a top, you know, 10 pick for the Giants whenever he was coming out of Alabama, but has been a healthy scratch in every single game for the Giants this year. I think the Texans look at a guy like this, a Alabama prospect, which we know Demo Ryan loves his Alabama prospects, a former Alabama Crimson Tide member himself. So, why not buy super low on a guy like Evan Neil, and at least bring him in and see if he can help out? I think he’d be better than Jarrett Kingston at one of those guard tackle spots. has a lot of starts under his belt already. So would be a decent backup lineman for you. But I think if you could maybe think of the Eagles with Mai Beckton, right? He was an outcast was not going to play for the New York Jets and everybody was like he sucks at tackle. They push him in at guard and what happened? He became one of the best guards in a hot commodity this off seasonason signed by the LA Chargers. Evan Neil can possibly be the next guy in that mold. 67 340 pounds. I think he could be a decent player for this Texans team. And if they’re looking at bringing in a guy, I think this is a perfect boil candidate. I I asked our Giants host, Marshall Green. He said seventh round pick in 2027. Gets it done. If that’s all it takes, yeah, I’m okay with that. Jackson Powers Johnson, somebody who I have said would be a good match for this Texans team. What is the likelihood that they’ll be able to get his services? I’m only going to give this one Toro head. Um, I think this is more on the line of even with everything going on in Las Vegas, call me crazy, I don’t think the Raiders want to be sellers at the trade deadline, even with all the holes that they have and, you know, playing in the AFC West and it looking like they don’t really have a good chance at making the playoffs this year, I don’t think the Raiders want to sell. and they probably shouldn’t sell on a guy like a Jackson Powers Johnson, a second round pick just a year ago out of Oregon. You know, he’s much better at a center spot. The Raiders for some reason refuse to play him there, but they still want to win in Las Vegas and a guy like Jackson Powers Johnson helps them do that. I don’t think they’re going to go ahead and move on from a guy like Jackson Powers Johnson. somebody who hasn’t been mentioned as much with the Raiders and being traded, but I still think is a sneaky name that you need to keep an eye out on. Dylan Parm, he’s also on that Raiders offensive line, and he gives you some positional flexibility with center and guard. I think they would be much more willing to move on from a guy like Dylan Parm, and he’s still a decent starter at the guard spot. The Texans can look to add a guy like Parm, I wouldn’t mind that either. I don’t know what the asking price would be for him. Surely less than it would be for a, you know, former second round picking Jackson Powers Johnson. Look out for this name right here, Dylan Parm. Maybe the Texans don’t snag him, but I think teams would inquire for Parm services as the deadline gets closer and closer. Now, I don’t think the Texans are going to make any moves on the defensive side, but I at least had to give you three names that I’ve heard somewhat linked to the Texans that we could look at and see maybe the Texans improve and already really good defense. First up, let’s look at that Browns fire sale one more time on today’s video. Ray Sean Jenkins, giving this one one tour to ahead, the safety and special teams ace for the Cleveland Browns this year. He plays, you know, a little bit on their defensive side and, you know, that’s kind of what the Texans already have with a guy like MJ Stewart. But Raawn Jenkins, I think in an expanded role could be pretty good. And the Texans overall, they just need depth. Depending on how Jaylen Reed plays out, the six- round pick out of Penn State this year, depending on whatever happens with Jimmy Ward, whenever he comes back from injury, if he does. The Texans though, they need more depth in the secondary. That is a fact. Now, there are some free agents that they could look at, but they wanted to get somebody on the cheap. And if they really liked Ray Shawn Jenkins game, maybe they throw a, you know, fifth, sixth, seventh round pick, maybe a late round pick swap for a guy like that. Next up, Justin Reed, who this is somebody who I talked about maybe two or three weeks ago. I’m going to give this one also one to head. Don’t think it’s likely. The Saints are on a fire sale, but would Reed be a part of that? I don’t think so. It would be a cool story. obviously was drafted by the Houston Texans, I believe in the third round out of Stanford and played well for this team before he moved on to Kansas City. I would like Justin Reed in Houston, but I don’t think the prices are going to work out one with his contract and two with what the Saints would want in return for Reed’s services. And last up, Xavier Woods. One more time, let’s look at that Titans fire sale. I think this one is also only one Toro head. Like I said, I don’t think the Texans add on the defensive side. He would be a another good name, though. He’s 30 years old. Signed a two-year deal with the Tennessee Titans. This would be a sneaky name that I would really like the Texans to at least examine. If the, you know, Titans already came out and said everybody is up for grabs. Okay. Well, what do you want for Xavier Woods? Because the Texans, they need more depth in that secondary, namely at the safety position. I would look at a guy like Xavier Woods and, you know, maybe kick the tires on somebody like that. 1. Texans should trade Patterson. He’s a solid Center but the clown staff thinks a waiver wire patriot scrub is better. So, do JP a favor and trade him to where he can actually have a fair shot. Also, how is he not a better choice at Left Guard than Tomlinson or Scruggs. They’re so so bad, but especially Sctuggs. His run blocking 😞

  2. I believe that the Texans would be best served by developing our rookie WRs and getting some safety help, I would wait and draft some offensive line talent as any veteran o-line talent we'd be likely to obtain would probably be a continuation of what we have fielding, not acceptable. I would also consider trading some of our older veteran depth pieces and pick up some more rookie draft capital.

  3. I personally would go for TE, maybe an insurance OL. The better CJ is protected, this team will zoom back to competition. Only get players that accentuate this position. Okonkwo? Another athletic blocking TE? 😉

  4. Although we need a RB all I can say is that an O line is far more important. We need to protect CJ man. If anything in the draft try to grab a good RB like the Notre Dame RB

  5. Definitely Defense, DT. And then You Scout and
Get Someone in the Draft .. if you're looking to build a Winner, you Get People who fit that
    Conceptual idea.
Then , if you want to Scale up 👆..This Team is Young, Sir. And Hiving
    A Core .. it's the Key..
Until, Mindset of the Franchise Change, We need a Organization that will do what it takes..
    And they "Want"2 Win..
    Commitment…❤

  6. I wish Alvin Kamara were up for it may be a little older but still has juice left and the saints will continue to be a dumpster fire until he retires so his last years are getting wasted. We have some young guys that could learn tons from a RB room with Mixon, Chubb, and Kamara.

  7. We need another S, TE, OL, and RB! If can squire at least 2 of the needs, and the guys we get are an improvement and not just added depth, I’ll regain hope for the playoffs. As of rn I don’t believe we will beat teams like Denver, Indianapolis, and Kansas City. It’s possible, but not likely we get to the playoffs.

  8. if i am trading for a tight end i am calling the raiders and asking about Michael Mayer. as far as the center position. Trading for pocic actually would be smart. aint gonna happen though. jake andrews would have to be injured

  9. I’d like the Texans to trade for Sam Cosmi. Coming back from injury he will be cheaper than expected, and his run blocking is elite. 3rd rd pick for him could get it done

  10. Man we need some real additions to the Oline. Also, go get a real #2 wr, in Deandre Hopkins who is the ravens best receiver and they aren’t even using him. He would bring life back to our team. Bring him home! What’s going on with Christian Wilkins? A legitimate DT that would compliment Will Anderson and Hunter and make it even easier for them to get sacks.

  11. This is consistently the most click baity channel that populates for the Texans.

Always full of pure skepticism. No one else is talking about these trades and we know Caserio doesn’t make substantial moves this close to the trade deadline.
