And I’m sure there’s more stuff he’s done that we don’t know about yet.
Half of them are stretches
KP was a net win trade though, and he didnt force Cuban out, by Cubans own words, that was his fault. The rest I agree with.
Nico Harrison is a gambler but instead of using slot machines he’s using an NBA team.
The worst thing Nico has done is self-explanatory. But this is not as exhaustive a list that some might want it to be. “Let Nico cook” was the general mantra around here before the Luka trade.
At least half of the things on this list are reaches.
All his trades are high risk gambles
People keep throwing the Jalen Brunson situation out there, but we prob wouldn’t have gotten Kia if we extended him and for where Brunson was at, he wanted too much at the time.
Brunson probably wouldn’t have ever been this good if he was on same team as Luka too. He needed to be in a leading role.
So I don’t knock Nico for that one.
Also, we were all kind of tired of KP injuries.
Really it’s 4 things:
Luka trade, firing Casey Smith, alienating Dirk and Caleb Martin
I’m planning to take the following day off from work and go out and celebrate pretty hard whenever they finally do fire Nico. Fuck that guy
Fire Nico. Sell the team.
Casey Smith should be number 2. Given NY’s tampering Brunson was likely gone anyway. And while he was still a very promising player at the time, he wasn’t the player he is today.
