[Schefter] Eagles ruled out CB Jaire Alexander for Monday night’s game in Green Bay. The team believes he still is acclimating to the defensive system, still recovering from a knee injury and it decided it was best for him to stay back to focus on his recovery

  1. I don’t have high hopes for Jaire, but am excited to see what Vic does with Carter added to the mix and now Bennett being back.

  2. Just want to be free of Ringo, guessing Adoree will start. Would like to see Bennett though

  3. I don’t really care watever happens with him, low risk high reward. Maybe he gets healthy.

  4. Kinda expected ngl. I think he can be good but let him learn the system so he can gain more confidence

  5. There is still a lot of football. No need to rush a guy especially with injury concerns. Good call.

  6. Probably for the best, don’t want him pulling his hammy in that cold ass weather anyways

  7. To be honest, the fact he’s still recovering from the knee might be good news, because it means he’s never been 100 percent this year.

  8. Imagine Jaire gets healthy in Philly and him and q and coop turn up for O tds allowed in da playoffs 😭

  9. He was a depth pickup for almost nothing. There’s no rush to get him in there. I’d rather have him as a viable option down the stretch.

  10. I’d have to imagine Fangio’s defence takes quite some time to learn. Our team is good enough that we don’t need to throw someone out there who’s not ready.

  11. I don’t mind this route, just seems weird to announce it like this. Injured players travel all the time with team so I don’t understand this one at all. Especially since his familiarity with GB, you’d think you’d want him on sideline to offer anything he can

  12. Hell yeah. Did NOT want him on the field for any important plays. 0 plays in any situation is great news.

  13. This will give Bennett and Carter Jr. opportunities to work out who will be a backup and who will be the potential starter.

  14. This makes sense although I’d have liked to see him get at least a few game reps. Still not sure if he’s got anything left but want to give him the benefit of the doubt after surgery last January.
