NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Red Wings | November 09, 2025

Connor Baddard, the first Hawk since Patrick
Kane in 21-22 with at least 15 points in the streak. Badard on a sevengame point streak for
him. Andre Burikovsky on the other side. The red Barat able to knock down Baddard who gets
it back from Terrain but Naser a late scratch. So Sam Laferty comes in for him for Chicago.
Here’s Baddard. Took the shot. He scores. Oh, what a rifle. His point streak continues to eight
games for Connor Baddard. 16 points. What a rifle that was. His ninth goal of the season on his 51st
shot. Shooters like Bard need to shoot the puck right up there. There is not much a goalender
can do. They’re down. We get the right angle. I’m going to show you the hole. I mean, there it
is. It’s right up there. The top corner. I mean, and if you can hit it, you’re going to get
rewarded. A different player, Connor Bedard, the Hawks say, who see him lots. So, the Larkin
trip on Bertusi comes back to haunt. A save there by Gibson is the So, can the two former Hawks
do some magic for the Red Wings against their old teams? And number 29 is out there wearing the
old number 29 of Landon Ferraro is Nate Danielson. That one went off the post. A Casper try there.
Casper. Well, Detroit darn near comes close to playing this game second behind the Bard goal.
Casper from not the best angle. I’m not sure why. A little bit snake bit this year trying to get him
going. So he’s now on the wing and not at center. Save there by Gibson. Want played
by Cider around for Edmonson. Patiently perfect feed. Here’s Raymond
on the wing. Raymond right in on goal. Safe rebound. Larkin scores.
Dylan Larkin drives the net. Here we trip for Tusi to make amends for that
off their power play goal. For sure. And boy, the patience that number 77 showed. And we’ll
take you back another time on this one. And it gets through the goalender. And actually, this
puck may have been knocked in by the Chicago defenseman. It gets through the goalie. I think
Larkin did get a stick on it briefly. We’ll have to wait and see. But nonetheless, big goal for
Detroit to come back that quickly and tie the game. Larkin touch it. I don’t know. I think
it looked like he did. I think he did. I think played ahead for Kane. Knocked away from
him. Back into the high slot. Turnaround try by Moore and that got stopped.
Another shot went wide from Donado. Soderb Blum able to move it. Kept in at the line
by Sandine Pelica for Kane. 44 to 88 in there for De Brinket. Able to find Coner. Coner back.
Sherro. Quick shot off a leg and wide. Donado put one ahead for Oliver Moore, a speedster out of the
University of Minnesota. He has played back off a stick. Bertusi is there defensively and away he
comes with a perfect feed for Oliver Moore. He’s in the clear and a big save. Oh, and two terrific
stops. Well, these are the kind of saves that you need. What a great play by Verusi. Bank shot. He’s
played a little bit of pool or shuffle board in his day and that rebound for sure. I don’t know
if it got the toe of his skate or what it was, but huge two saves by John Gibson. Yeah, it
was on the highlight from Friday night. Raymond didn’t get it out for kept it in. Finds Bedard.
Laid back. Good save there off Andre Barakovski. And not many thought Barakovski could hang
on Baddard’s wing when the season began, but the Austrian like Casper is doing it for
Chicago. He’s been terrific with six goals and a good save there on him by Gibson. The Brinkett’s
got it. On comes Kane off the change and he’s got the puck. Kane, he’s right in on goal. Oh, and
tried a short side shot. Did that hit the post or did it hit the mask? The Brinket able to tie
it up there along with Wyatt Kaiser. Two on two down low to Brink. Oh, Kane was all alone. Just
couldn’t get it. And Raymond got his stick in there. Three Red Wings in behind two Hawks and
the Red Wings able to come up with it and make the play. Here’s Sherro. Shot and the save by
Sodlam. But Chicago has scored first, but the Red Wings have answered. Here’s Soderblum on his
brother right in goal. Oh my. Oh, and he couldn’t beat him. Elmer on Arvid. Tidy. He just placed it
at the faceoff dock. Here’s Elmer on his brother. Yeah, he should have just plowed into him. What
do you think, man? Oh, yeah. Why not? Just like playing road hockey. He didn’t get a whole lot of
anything on the big guy. 85. If he had only two more inches of reach, he tried going around
his right pad. Oh, he got it with his right skate. Wow. We’re going to have some penalties
here. And it will be against Chicago. There’s a vicious cross check in the back. It’s amazing.
the likes of Cole Cfield and those nice play. Here’s Larkin back slot to Brinket. Knocked it
down. Larkin a tip and grabbed by Soderblong for number one points all time as the Red Wings begin on the power play. Here’s
Raymond and a save by Soderblock. Kane goes back for Cider. The shot and no
rebound. Comes back here for Cider and a cost for Larkin. Down low it goes. Out of the
corner came Raymond. The save made. The rebound popped off the pads. But again, Soda Blomb’s
got it as likely now relating more to the youth movement with Chicago. Here comes Cider.
Dropped it back for Danielson and a save made. The dar gets checked and pushed. Loose puck and
then Bertusi came in and knocked down Cider. No arm there. There’s a shot. They
score. Terrain and on a one-time fans are upset about and Larkin
talking to the referee about something that happened down there on
that loose puck behind the net. Oh, it was Buzzi. No, it’s coming up here. He
knocked over. He knocked Cider over. Yeah, but it was the high stick for Tuzi on Dylan, but
he’s got a quick young group coming here. Well, as much as I said we’ve got eight guys 24
years or younger in the lineup for Detroit, Chicago has nine. Here’s Larkin and a save made
and then for Chicago. Move by Colton Dock. Didn’t get anywhere. Larkin back in with it. Larkin
to the goal for Raymond to L. And he couldn’t bury it. Oh my. Right off the toe. Good block.
Pretty good give and go right there. And ohay, that’s those are hard to get around and
get over. I’ll tell you right now. Dylan Holden Dock gets rocked hard by
Raymond who has it now to break it. Oh, and a save again by Soderblong. Good Detroit
number 77 D Miner flashing. Not a power play was three for eight the past four coming into
today and as you say two for two this afternoon. Terrain in the bumper. Bertusi down low. Bedard
to Berusi brings it out front. He scores. Tyler Bertusi his sixth goal his past three games
and six points now the past six against his former team face off controlled by the power play down
by the to the left of Gibson and he actually half fanned on this shot and it went between the pads
it looked like. Yes, it did. Doesn’t matter how it got there. The point is they got a 3-1 lead
on three power play goals. And Vuzi making sure everybody knows after what heard also with one
and one today. As for the moment passing Cabbrini for the scoring lead. Here comes Finny. Finny
right to the net. Trip. Could this be a penalty shot? Possible. Let’s see. No. A come on game.
And it doesn’t matter if you get a shot away, you can still get a penalty shot. But they
deemed he wasn’t in clearly enough. Well, that’s as about as severe a trip as you’re
going to you’re going to lay on somebody. Both skates get hit and down he goes. At
one point in time, I thought it would be a twoon-one with Kane on the other side,
but most of the time right off the draw. In comes Casper in front. Oh, and unable
to bury that. What an opportunity there. But Finny couldn’t complete it. Sand Dean Pelican off the right side. Danielson back in front.
Save made on Van Reamdike by Soderblanc. Back for Kane. Van Reamdikeke tipped in front
for Larkin. Knocked away. On it is Badard. backhanded one and it worked and the empty net
and it’s hit there by Burkovski from distance. Oh well, another point for Baddard. He’s
got two points today and Bedard’s got three. Yeah, just a bit of a bank almost a giveaway
and but long flipper hits the [ __ ] hits the left the former Spartan drags the puck
went back for Grizzlick off the end boards in front and they score just to insult to
injury and uh Oliver Moore you see that coming his first they throw the puck around the
boards get control behind the net and there’s uh nobody there to guard Moore in front of
the net. He snapped one. A breakaway earlier did Oliver Moore and Gibson made a great
stop on him. There you have it. That’s a matter of just split seconds and bang bang the
plays out in front and Moore snaps it home. No, there’s a there’s the break that they
got off the leg. Oh jeez. Oh well, I guess that makes up for the other chance when all the
the hoopla is over and who knows with a young player may get him on a run. Chicago certainly
hopes so. So denied earlier but scores there

  1. Is there a reason that they used only the Detroit broadcast for the highlights? It'd sure be nice to hear some enthusiasm for the other 5 goals of the game.
