So, Mad Max Crosby’s on the market and you know, I’m kind of loving it. Let’s talk about it. So, Mad Max Crosby, the Raiders are trying to trade him away. Cowboys reached out for him, which is funny and ironic. The Cowboys of all teams reach out to him after trading away Micah Parsons. Now, they’re trying to trade for Mad Max Crosby. This would I would say right now send a first round pick. Send a first round pick for Mad Max Crosby. Get it done with. I honestly whoever we draft in the first round next year, they’re not going to be better than Mad Max Crosby. Let’s be honest, they’re not. Max Crosby is going to be better than whoever we draft. So, he currently is on contract until 2029. He actually recently got his deal. Um, the new team would acquire 20.3 million guaranteed for this year, which we can afford. We could make that work 100%. 30 million next year. Okay. 29 million, 27 million, and 28 million. So, Raiders are paying him an extra $18 million themselves for dead money because that’s guaranteed. Uh, so realitywise, we’re getting a guy who could probably play at the very tippy top of the best pass rusher in the league and we’d be getting for 20.3 million this year. Trade a first round pick right now. Honestly, if they wanted a first and a third, I’d go first and a third. Like, this guy is that good. This guy would elevate our defense times 1,000. Having Trey on one side and Mad Max Crosby on the other side, that is say a white nightmare. That they’re both white. Okay, they’re both white, guys. But that would be an absolute disruption in the backfield. Who cares about having corners? If you can get to the quarterback within 3.5 seconds every single play, oh, baby, I would love this so much. I know we’re not going to do this, but I want this so freaking badly. I wanted Micah Parsons to the Bengals, and now this would be even just up there, if not the same, because they’re both amazing players. Crosby $29 million salary cap fully guarantees next March, making this a $2.5 year, 80 million contract for practical purposes. Yeah, please. Bengals. Imagine imagine how beautiful that would be. I mean, you’re talking about we’re gonna lose Trey Hendrickson potentially after this year. We might franchise tag him. In all honesty, if we go win a Super Bowl, he probably is okay with being franchise tagged. He might sign for a lower-end contract just to be on this team. If we go win a Super Bowl with him, let’s just get it done. Like Joe Flacco can get us to a point where we’re a playoff team. Then we get Joe Burrow back at the end of this season when he’s 100% healthy, 100% ready to go. Just imagine with Max Crosby in there, too. That’s going to be so freaking dominant. That’s going to be a force of nature you never want to talk about when it comes to our defense. will go from one of the worst defenses last week to one of the best defenses in the matter of a week. This I I know it’s not going to happen, man. I know it’s not going to happen, but I want it to happen so freaking much. I don’t care what you have to give up at this point. Just go get him. Just go give up and get him. Like, he’s worth every penny at this point. But they’re not going to do it. I don’t think they’re going to do it. Just like with the Michael Par situation, I don’t think they’re going to do it. This would be a complete shift of the Bengals defense. I mean, like a complete shift, not the Bengals defense, complete shift of the Bengals culture of going mid-season and getting a player like this, but ah just it’s a pipe dream. It’s a pipe dream that I wish would happen. But with that being said, I know everyone else is saying the same stuff. Someone explain the difference what OTC and spa track are saying. I I don’t know exactly how Sprack is calculating it, but Sparack has not been wrong yet, so I’m going to go with that. Overthecap.com apparently does have his base salary at 32.5, which is what we would technically be paying trading for his team, but as you see right here, it says the Raiders have already paid him seven games uh for this year, about 12 million or so. So, a new team would be paying him for 10 remaining games plus game roster bonuses 20 million or so. Overtheclock.com doesn’t factor in that until the trade is made. Ah, thank you. See, this is why people are smart in the comment section. So, that’s why they already paid him for the money that he’s already played. So, if we traded for him, we wouldn’t be paying this money because they he’s already been paid that money. we would only be paying this money right here. So go do it. So go do it, please.
