This Canucks team is EXTREMELY Chaotic….

All right, I went to go watch this game at a friend’s house, which is why it’s coming out so late. But after quite a brutal loss to the Chicago Blackhawks the other night, the Conucks earned themselves a big win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, their first half of a backto back. And all I can really say after watching that game is, man, they are really about to do it. For the last 11 games, the Vancouver Cust have alternated wins and losses. We’re on pace for the most average season of all time, which is why I’m not that excited. I know it was a big game and it was a fun game to watch and I’m happy that they got the win, but I just want to see them moving in a certain direction. Have a direction for this team. Whether that’s the top of the standings or the bottom, just pick something because the last place you want to be is the middle of the pack where you’re too far away to get a good draft pick and you just barely miss out on the playoffs. That’s exactly where the Vancouver Conucks are. So, until they start to show some sort of consistency, I will reserve my excitement, but we’ll see. And yes, I’ll say it again. I hate to be a downer after the Koshas pulled out one of the most exciting wins of this young season, but I really want to see them string some wins together. They want to show to me that they can make the playoffs. Show me. You have a big test tomorrow against the Avalanche. We’ll see how they do. For now, let’s talk about this game. Starting off with the first period of play. I thought this period was pretty even. Teams are trading chances the whole way through. The Canucks had some good looks. Couldn’t find the back of the net. Kevin Lankin was standing tall and Ashley having himself a pretty good performance. There were definitely some close calls. Both teams knocking at the door. Dying seconds of the period. Lucas Reichel has himself a great chance, but he just skies it after this rebound. I’m telling you, this guy could have 10 goals with the Vancouver Conucks right now. It’s coming. He’s getting in the right spots. Once one goes in, I’m sure the floodgates will open up. I mean, look at Drew O’ Connor right now. We’ll talk about him in a little bit, but before that, I want to talk about this hit here from Olivier in the second period on DPD. very dirty late in the numbers, very unnecessary. He got a five-minute major and I hope the league takes a further look at that. Anyways, in that second period, Jake de Brusk opens the scoring, takes this pass here and a very nice finesse shot over the glove of Merleakans. That lead though did not last long at all as Carell Marenko breaks in and scores. Tyler Myers ran into the net. It was partially off, but it’s obviously still a goal. 1-1 tie. And then the Blue Jackets get a lucky bounce and score the go-ahead goal here to make it two to one. The puck was kind of in the crease sat there. Lanking didn’t know where it was and it just kind of got poked by him. But then in the last minute of the second period, the Canucks were pressing. It’s Quinn Hughes with a shot and then Drew O’ Conor who’s been on a hot streak as of late, pots in another goal. He had a disallowed goal against the Blackhawks the other night. This one will count. He gets dumped afterwards that caused a commotion. last couple seconds of the second period. Quinn Hughes gets hooked on the play. No call. The refs were very questionable in this game. I don’t know quite what they were seeing where this isn’t a hook. It’s pretty much a textbook hook, but it is what it is. We move on now to the third period of play. Tyler Myers with the dangles and then Connor Garland is there to pick up the rebound and put it by Merzleens. Gives the Conucks a 3-2 lead. But the Blue Jackets, they fire right back. It’s Marenko again with his second goal of the game. Nice shot past Lankin and ties this one up at three apiece. It’s a tight one heading into the last five minutes of play. And then Kefir Sherwood sends one over to Brock Besser who knocks it down perfectly. Takes a shot from the circle. Doesn’t cleanly beat Merge Leakens, but it does just enough to bounce over the line and give the Conucks the 4-3 go-ahad goal as they go on to win this game. Penderson also had two clutch blocks to finish this one off in the final 10 seconds. You love to see that. And yeah, the Kucks improved to 8 and 8. And now we have to wait to see if they can finally string two wins together for the first time since they went 4-2 on the season back when they beat the Washington Capitals. That was a while ago. But yeah, for now, not going to get too high on this. Not going to get too low either because it is still pretty early on in the season. You just pray that they can somehow magically turn it around and get some consistency to string some wins together. Sounds far-fetched now and honestly pretty unlikely, but I’ve seen crazier things, so I guess we’ll have to wait and find out. Yeah, be sure to give me your thoughts on this team in the comment section down below. Thank you so much for watching. Sorry for the late upload. I will see you all very soon for the Conucks Avalanche game. Be a peace out and take

The Vancoiuver Canucks get a big win over the Columbus Blue Jackets where Brock Boeser scored the game winner. Mathieu Olivier had a firty hit on Elias Pettersson.

  1. I still imagine an alternate universe where Arthur Griffiths never brought the Grizzlies to Vancouver and therefore never ended up selling the Canucks to John McCaw. What a great place that would be.

  2. Some people don’t realize that Petey is getting close to being a 11.6 million dollar player. First of all, Petey is not just getting us points, he’s getting us scoring chances. You can see that he is passing the puck more and maybe pick up an assist. Second, he is getting physical. Last season Petey was very fragile and acting like a baby. Over the offseason he was able to gain some muscle and now you can see him laying more hits. Petey is also blocking shots at crucial moments like the dying seconds of the end of the game. I hope this changes your view of Petey because he is actually gaining his confidence and if he keeps this up he could become a fan favourite again

  3. Reffing in this game was trash. Again.
No call on that obvious hook on Hughes!? My god.
Either enforce the rules or don't. I can't believe they won this game. We should've had probably 3-5 more power plays.

  4. Great video. Pick a direction. If they want to be a contender, they need to make a big trade. I think they should get rid of Demko while his trade value is high and get some scoring!

  5. EP40 isn't like what he was 3 years ago, but he's definitely better then what he was last year. This year, he's making plays and getting some points while being great defensively. Last year he was just basically invisible

  6. I was at the game and holy sh*t was the officiating awful, the stupid penalty that Debrusk got after the Drew goal. Then when Hughs was on his brake-away like hello??

  7. I beg of you please stop putting the result on the thumbnail I cant watch right away and if i forget and open youtube your vid is always there 😢

  8. Canucks are just training rookies right now with so many injuries. Considering, they are doing really well. Petey, good goal scorers don't aim for the goalie, he gona miss some, and most are not off by much.
