Another one the Dodgers have probably already come to an agreement with last year.
I refused to get hopes up for top overseas players now.

At this point it is safe to assume that any big Japanese player is likely already going to get picked up by the Dodgers

I’m sure they saw that timing is excellent—hefty premium on Starting Pitching with FAs right now.
There is no point in spending any time or effort on any Japanese player. They are signing with the Dodgers. The Japanese league is just another farm team for the Dodgers.
