Nazem Kadri’s Silver Stick Ceremony

[Applause] In addition to Nass’s work, ethic and tireless dedication on the ice, he’s established himself as extraordinary representative of our city. Tonight, the Calgary Flames Foundation very proud to make a donation of $50,000 to the Nasen Cadri Foundation. Presenting the check tonight, please welcome from your Calgary Flames ownership group, Jeff McCay. And from the Flames Foundation, executive director, Candace Gaudy. [Applause] to present a special gift to NASAM tonight. Please welcome the general manager of your Calgary Flames, Craig Conroy. Craig and Nazam’s father, Sam, are presenting Nazum with a one-of-a-kind painting created by Canadian artist David Orrigo. Uh commemorating Nazum’s amazing NHL career. [Music] [Applause] And now to present NASAM with a commemorative silver stick. Please welcome on behalf of the Calgary Flames ownership group, Alan Markin. The Silver Stick becomes a tradition for all players who have reached the 1,000game milestone and is one of the greatest symbols of longevity and perseverance in the National Hockey League. And in recognition of her father’s 10,000th NHL game, Blake Coleman has presented Nila with her very own silver mini stick.
