I can't think of a good reason to start Wilson over Winston.

Absolutely, optics be damned—the team is 2-8. At least with Jameis, they can run the offense…something that clearly can’t be done with Russ.

Why would you start someone who won’t be around next year when the other guy most likely will be
Idk what happened to Russell Wilson but he seems to be incapable of throwing the ball forward more than 3 yards.
Watching Russell Wilson scramble straight up the middle on the goal line and getting stood up at the LOS by one arm was what made me think this guy is done for sure.
I want it regardless.
If Dart is cleared I still want him to sit a week

The c suite definitely doesn’t care if the product is watchable, they just want to be the respectable stable franchise that never fires people or cuts underperformed. At least, Sunday afternoons are now free (unless you enjoy seeing Russ check down or throw it away)and who could be a better tank commander?
They will start and stay with wilson until dart comes back in two weeks.
The giants now have a morale problem. It was evident when dart left the game. The giants will play like losers until dart is back.

I hope the draft is rich in talent because giants are in line for a high draft pick.

Jameis might be an interception waiting to happen but at least he’s not afraid to throw the ball. Wilson’s processing just seems slow and indecisive.
I have never seen a quarterback throw the ball away so many times.
100% agree and support this. Will we win with Jameis, maybe. But Wilson makes it a loss for sure. If we lose with Jameis at least he’ll be throwing the ball no matter what instead of just handing it off or running into a DT’s arms.
I’m very much of the mindset that if Dart is playing I want to win. See him succeed, see the team evolve with and under his leadership.
If he’s out, I’d rather have the best draft pick possible to then surround Dart with a more talented team.

FYI I saw dart running up and down the sideline while Russ was warming up after the fumble play. He will probably be fine for next week.
Wilson would be lucky to have a 3rd string position for any team in the league next year. My money says he’ll be retiring after this season due to lack of offers.
I think Winston should start either way. At 2-8 Dart getting banged up and knocked around and now the concussion doesn’t need to start. Let him sit.

Do NOT make Dart keep starting even if he gets cleared. Him carrying the whole team on his back is not sustainable. It’s not worth the risk of more injuries

Wilson just stands there and expects the pocket to develop around him, when he sees pressure he just tucks the ball and waits to get destroyed. There was a play yesterday where he did that, then realized he had a chance but the moment passed and he threw a screen to no one. He has to roll out of the pocket
