We were the up and coming team everyone had their eyes on, loaded with promise. We finally found our franchise QB, drafted one of the best wideouts the game’s ever seen, and that Tee Higgins guy is also unreal.

Our defense wasn’t elite, but they made clutch plays when it counted. The locker room was stacked with real leaders who could back it up on the field. The Titans sacked Burrow nine times, and it didn’t matter. We went into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs, and it didn’t matter.

We ran the AFC North. Sigh 😞

  1. To bad our only remaining players from that SB run and the AFC championship is Hendrickson, Evan, Tee, Chase and Burrow.

The FO decided to just build through the draft after those 2 great runs and suck at it.

  2. Stupid to act that arrogant when we hadn’t won anything. I never want to hear another “Burrowhead” or “Mahommes who” or “My whole career is the Super Bowl window” or flipping off opponent in a game we lose or slow walking into the endzone in a game we lose until this Joe-ke of a franchise actually wins something that they can be proud of.

  3. If you go back to those game threads you will see lots of people calling out Taylor’s awful play calling the whole way.

And that’s all I think about when I see this picture. How ignorant those kids are about the ownership and true quality of the coach they play for.

  4. I can’t help but feel like Uzomah was one of the biggest reasons the Bengals made it to the superbowl. What a great leader

  5. I feel you. If Duke and the front office get back to signing FAs on defense, we can get back to these vibes again. A lot of our success during that run was because of guys like Trey, Awuzie, Flowers, Eli Apple, etc. Every team needs experienced FAs who can come in and make plays while the rookies on defense develop
