What was that moment like for you? Yeah, I mean it was obviously really cool moment. Uh, you know, it’s good really good to get the first one out of the way. Obviously, it feels like a weight off their shoulders a little bit in that category, but uh just kind of reminds you of all the people that got you to this point a little bit. Um, you know, it’s all about the guys in here making it easy for me to come in and uh if we keep playing win hockey, hopefully it’s the first of many. Yeah, I think you had four shots in the first nine minutes and you had that the two chances in the breakaway. Did it feel like tonight was maybe a night that it was going to come or? Yeah, I mean I was thinking like if I don’t score after that one, you know, something’s wrong. Hockey guys don’t love me. But no, I obviously felt really good. Uh I definitely had a good feeling about today though for sure with this group or someone who doesn’t follow you guys all year round. What’s it kind of like the mentality of this group as you got a bunch of guys who are younger, got some older guys as well, but some of the younger guys that kind of growing into leadership roles maybe that been would be younger guys on other teams but on this team have taken a little more of that. What’s it been like for you as a younger guy to be part of this group? Yeah, it’s definitely been special. I mean, we have, like you said, like a really good mix of veterans who have led this league for a long time and have gone through what us young guys are going through. Uh, and we have a mix of young guys who have played. I mean, Connor’s played two years in the league. He knows what it takes. Uh, we got guys in here who care and and who want to win and I think that’s what’s going to make us successful down the road. What’s been just we I kept being based out here. We I saw Flash for a long time here as a head coach. Now, I was seeing him get an opportunity. What’s been kind of your interaction with him getting to know him as a head coach and now a month into this season here? Yeah, I mean I think Blash has been awesome to everyone in here. I mean, I think there’s a reason, you know, we’re we’re winning hockey games, we’re playing for each other. Uh he’s been a leader for sure as a coach and someone who for me as a young guy, you know, I can come in, I can talk to, I’m not afraid to ask questions, and uh he makes it easy for me. So, you said your calls before the Seattle game was pretty hectic. Would you say you’ve gotten pretty comfortable as of right now? Yeah, I mean four games in, I think that road trip was definitely a wakeup call just to the schedule of the NHL and and everything like that. I think it’s going to be good to get back to Chicago for sure. Uh, but it was definitely a hectic couple days and uh something I’ll never forget.
