A Key Point 49ers Fans Are Missing About Niners Not Making A Trade #shorts San Francisco 49ers News
This is what I think a lot of people are missing when it comes to the 49ers not making a trade. It’s not always results or stats based. And here’s what I mean by that. When the front office makes a move, when the team is in a playoff hunt, I think it gives the rest of the team belief that the guys upstairs really believe that they can accomplish something this year. And we see this all the time, whether it’s with individual players who get traded to a playoff contender or with teams, that player maximizes and plays better or the team really rallies around that move and they start to feel confident and they really start to play their best football. Look at what happened back in 2022 when the Niners traded for Christian McCaffrey. They lost that first Chiefs game. McAffrey didn’t start, but they began the season four and four. The rest of the way they didn’t lose until the NFC Championship game. And a lot of people have said, “Well, one player wouldn’t make the difference.” What if that one player early in the game when the Rams were rolling had a sack, a TFL, a big play, forced a turnover? That could have changed the entire complexion of the football game today. Instead, managers were flat.

Hi all
Bull shit
It’s going to be worse next year you have to pay the noodle arm quarterback 😂
Chase SHEFTER. And no we can't. Look at the broncos half our d on that team and wow they #1
The defense is embarrassing. My Niners gotta get better 😞
With all the injuries we were never going to make any noise. Mortgaging future picks and the ability to roll over cap space just for optics is bad business. I would have loved to add a player but not at the sacrifice of the rebuild.
Big bro, you work this craft very very well. …..don’t grow a beard.
I can agree with the premise .There is a counter argument to be made that sometimes you see how the season has been going and have to determine if the trade is worth the Draft Capital/Cap required for the player.
Now obviously if a player was of a high enough caliber and low enough price make the trade. Sometimes the trades don't make since especially considering the goal of the Niners Recto get younger.
I agree.
Oh u mean when they had Deebo, Warner, Bosa, Greenlaw, Aiyuk, Ward, Hufonga, Ward? Yea this is definitely the same scenario 🫤
WHAT IF? If it was a fifth, we would all be DRUNK
I agree, but the season is over once again. That’s a shame—cheers from London. I follow the 49ers through your channel. Congratulations,
This FO quit this team and is just showing.
The 49ers are NOT going to the playoffs this year. IF, by some miracle that they do make the playoffs, they are going to lose. Again.
Nah man the key point to us losing is 29 injuries
29 players that’s almost a whole dam football team in itself
29
Not 1
Not 2
Not 3
Nope 29 injuries that won’t win you football games
The FO has entered the "next year is gonna be our year" phase. Keep Kyle get a new GM that wants to win superbowls. John just worried about his job.
Even Brady said the refs impacted that game
They needed to make too many trades and the right deals probably weren’t there
Tbh, I’m not frustrated by no trades at the deadline. It’s not like they didn’t make a trade for White just days before…. If it was gonna take a 1st for Hendrickson or a 2nd for Johnson, then hold the picks. Dont need to trade just because you can. That’s just throwing money in the fire. The decision to not force something is wise. It would’ve only been a short term medium pay off in exchange for a long term investment elsewhere
Niners just need to get better at keeping guys on the field and out of gurneys.
We’ve turned into the Bengals 😢
We were healthy when we traded for CMC bro on both sides you gotta account for not having Bosa or Fred be honest it wouldn’t matter who we traded for our. So just. Over pay for guys just to say we tried and get the same results on defense i know you heard Kittle yesterday !
Totally agree
You know what would’ve made a difference if the refs did their job and called the game both ways. Secondary was holding and hitting niner WRs early. No team plays a perfect game but the Rams did for some reason. Scripted or not you tell me.
Just trying to come up with reasons to justify pushing for the 9ers to sell the farm for a 30 year old pass rusher, instead of thinking long term. With all the stars that are out, this team is going nowhere, so why sign some big name and "give the guys confidence that management believes in them"? It would make no difference in the end result, except forfeiting draft picks. L take.
The problem is they’ve made all the wrong moves! Whether it be the draft or contracts. The John Lynch experience is over man. Keep Kyle but we need a strong GM that can actually identify talent and be prudent in regards to giving extensions to aging players regardless how Kyle feels about them.
The issue was not making a trade, but rather the Shaving on talent over the last 6 years. If you glance at the 2019 roster and compare it to the 2020 thru 2025 you can see on the roster is being depleted. It appears that ownership banked on maintaining the offense at the expense of putting our a skeleton defense.
You don't get free seasons in the NFL. If you are in playoff position you maximize your teams chances period
REAL ONE
Chase, let it go. The trade did not happen. I appreciate your passion, but not everyone believes as you do. Renting a player for a half of a season isn’t that great when compared to drafting a better player and having control of they’re cost for 5 years. You seem to be stuck on what they are missing this year, while ignoring the future. Stop creating content that is short sighted and wrong. Let it go.
