  1. Look at how slow Brock Purdy has been to come back with a much less severe turf toe injury. I don’t want to see Burrow on the field at all for the rest of the year, especially at 3-6.

  2. Gotta get those bad reads out early so he can help lead the team to the promised land of a 50 point a game season

  3. Everyone asking why are acting as if Joe himself doesn’t have a say in if he comes back or not this season. He’s not being forced to return to practice if he wanted to sit out the season.

  4. He won’t come back after we lose the next 3. It’s so disappointing because if we just beat the jets and bears like we should have, we probably are at 6-6 or 7-5 getting Joe back.

  5. He better not play this year. The FO and Zac need to have a serious talk about Joe’s play style not belong out his longevity.

It would also be malpractice to let him play at all this year.

  6. Plan:

    * Joe returns with little change to make playoffs.
    * Joe get hurt again.
    * Fans look forward to 2027

  7. This is the season from Hell. Shut it down. Launch Duke Tobin into the sun and hire somebody who knows how to draft.

  8. With him back could we beat the ravens (2x) , patriots, and bills? We still have to beat the Steelers this Sunday. Then we got cardinals dolphins and browns? It’s over

  9. just in time to get us to 8 wins, miss the playoffs, save Zac and Tobin’s jobs and miss all the best players in the draft

  10. Umm…please no. Flacco hung 38 on the Jets and 42 on the Bears and still lost both games. QB play is not the problem.

Unless Burrow’s turf toe surgery somehow made him an elite linebacker or safety, sit his ass for the rest of the season.

  11. I can’t believe how many people are in here saying that the season is a lost cause. We are only 2 games back from winning the division. We aren’t going to be the #1 seed but we can definitely win this division.

  12. Unless he is coming back to play linebacker or cornerback, what difference will it make?

  13. every fucking time I emotional divest from this team they pull you right back in. We all know they are just going to crush us again. It’s such an abusive cycle

  14. Unless he’s willing to play both ends and line up as a strong safety as well where we most need it, then nothing will change

  15. A 4-8 Bengals team brining Joe back early from a serious injury? Genius! What could go wrong!

  16. There really isn’t any point. Joe Flacco has been performing and our defense still manages to loose the game. I’d rather have Joe burrow sit out until our defense gets it together

  17. If the rumors are true, his first game back will be against Baltimore November 27th. The only way he play’s that game is if they at least split with the Steelers and Patriots.
