With the lockout coming, I expect the Pirates to do less then nothing this off-season. Bob is definitely going to shut down all spending to save his bottom line if games get canceled. Stack the possibility of a salary floor and maybe needing to pay for an actual team, and this team is going to go out of its way to not pay a dime more then necessary this year.
