New York Islanders at New Jersey Devils | FULL Overtime Highlights – November 10, 2025

He’ll stop at the blue line. Makes a move. Loses the puck and Horvat will send it back into his own end for Schaefer. Schaefer outlet pass. Doesn’t connect with Heinman. Goes down onto Mark and he taps it back out to the far wall. Almost stolen away. So Mercer had to fire it back behind his net. Three on three for five minutes. If we can’t decide it here, we’ll go to a shootout. Jack Hughes one goal in his last five. He’s been hunting for one ever since. And here comes Brat with Hughes and Luke. Brat brings it in, leaves it for Luke. Hughes, makes a move, slings a shot on. It won’t go. Banged in front. And it’ll be played by Druan. And the Islanders trying to calm it down with Pulock almost intercepted, but it’s poked ahead by Barcelle. Now he’s got a head of steam. Gets it to Drew. Back to Barcel. Matt Barcel scores. So the Islanders recover and they score in overtime and they get the extra point ending the Devil’s sevengame winning streak at home. A really nice play give and go. Barcel uses his speed to get him behind. What a perfect saucer pass, but it’s a huge point for the Devils. I mean, it looked like it was going to be a hard luck loss originally. Yeah, it’s a tough loss, don’t get me wrong, as they lose in the shootout, but they do get a point and they all add up. And a real nice play in overtime here by the Islanders as the Devils Luke Hughes had a good chance through a screen. And then Barcel give and go. Watch him off to the races and the quick miss goes a little the back end to the forehand and beats Marstrom. Good hockey game. 3-2 Islanders in OT. [Music]
