Stop Blaming the Coaches — This Is on the Players #shorts

The blame game is on in this market. It’s Derrick Alain’s fault today. It’s the assistant coach’s fault that the Maple Leafs are getting lit up. Okay, there there’s one sole focus right now and it should be on the players. I don’t think this is a coaching thing. The goalending needs to be better. I thought Stlars was awful awful on Saturday in that loss to Boston. But this is the players on the ice, Rosie. You you can speak to this. You played at the highest level. They’re they’re making the dumbest plays imaginable. Like these are like things you learn in minor hockey when you’re 7 years old. And if you’re Craig Barubi, he has every reason to be frustrated. You know, the blame game and the fingerpointing is ridiculous. It’s this is 100% what you said. This is basic hockey stuff. Like commitment to details that these guys all know. You don’t get to the NHL not knowing this stuff, but for whatever reason, no one’s taking the lead on it and no one’s following suit and there’s just no cohesiveness within that room to do those things over and over again and say, “No matter what the play looks like or what I’m seeing, my priority is a commitment to these certain things and they’re the things that prove the difference in Games.

Contrary to popular belief… the #LeafsForever struggles aren’t because of Derek Lalonde.

THIS IS ALL ON THE PLAYERS!
