🚨Denver Broncos Get A BUNCH Of News Before Playing Chiefs In Week 11 Ft. Alex Singleton & More

[Music] If the Denver Broncos ever needed extra motivation to take down the Kansas City Chiefs, this is it right here. Broncos country, welcome into the Broncos breakdown by Chad Sports. My name is Moose. On today’s episode, I am going to talk to you about this extra motivation, some good news surrounding the Denver Broncos, and two key players that need to be involved in this offensive game plan if the Kansas City Chiefs are going to take a big fat L. First of all, let’s start with this. We’ll start with a little bit more of a serious note here. Alex Singleton has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. This is never positive news. I don’t want to make light of this news. I will never ever say that this is good news. However, I will say that he had surgery on Friday. Believe it or not, he played in the Raiders game. Had nine tackles in that game. And then random drug test, divine intervention at its very, very best. Comes in. They find out that he had early detection of testicular cancer. They got rid of the cancerous tumors and he is doing well. Here is a statement that he issued just a couple of hours ago. And I’m only going to read a couple of lines on this. I don’t want to go through the entire quote, but I will say a bit of what he had to say in this gigantic statement that he made to the Denver Broncos fan base. A little over two weeks ago, following a random drug test as part of the NFL’s drug testing program, I received a notice that I had elevated levels of the hormone HCG in my system. Without a doubt, I knew that with how diligent I am with what goes into my body, that this was not from anything external I may have taken. After speaking with an a my agent, my wife, we decided to book an appointment with a urologist. On Monday, I visited Dr. Andrew Zivy uh Zilla Zilly, excuse me, who determined that in fact I had signs of a testicular tumor. I immediately contacted the Broncos. They put me in contact with Dr. Jeff Ledgerwood and he was able to conduct an ultrasound immediately to confirm the diagnosis. He goes on to say that he had the surgery and that he is on the road to a full recovery. This is some new motivation for this team. You heard Justin Sternad say it himself. They are going to now fight for Alex Singleton. And while this isn’t delotterious to Alex Singleton’s health, right, he’s not dying. This is something that should be taken very seriously. Like I said, the game is not bigger than one any singular player’s life. So, we have to treat every single situation like this as if it is the most serious thing going on. Now, Alex Singleton would probably be the first one to tell you. Hey, we’ve got a game on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. You all need to lock in. And I’m sure that’s exactly what he told his boys in the locker room. But still, Alex Singleton, we wish you the very best speedy recovery. He did say he plans on being back on the field very soon. who knows what that means. That’s TBD. But at the very same time, we can still wish him the very best recovery and thoughts and prayers going out to him and his family. Show Alex some love for me. Give me those 49s down in the comment section down below. That means Justin Stron has to take on that second uh interior linebacker position alongside Dre Greenlaw. But we all wish that Alex has a very speedy and fast recovery. Let’s talk about the other two weapons that I wanted to bring up in today’s episode. Marvin Mims Jr. and then a little bit later we’ll talk about Courtland Sutton. The Broncos should be getting Mims Jr. back. And believe me when I tell you, I did not think that Marvin Mims’s impact on this wide receiver group was as big as it should have been until I started to do my homework a little bit more. Shame on Moose. Slap on the wrist. But if we’re looking at the Broncos wide receiver chart right now, Courtland Sutton is your one. Marvin Mims Jr. is technically listed as your number two. Based off of the recent shares that Troy Franklin has got, you would think Troy Franklin is your wide receiver one, but your big three, no doubt, Sutton, Mims, Franklin. But as I just previously mentioned, Mims is so much more valuable to the Broncos passing game that even I realized. And not just in his ability to stretch the field with the ball in his hand. This guy is an absolute unit, a stud. So versatile, such a utility player, and he makes Bo Knicks better. You don’t believe me? Check out the numbers. This is Bon Knick’s numbers this season with Marvin Mims on the field. 62% completion, 225 passing yards a game, five touchdowns, five picks. Well, that looks pretty good, Moose. 3 to1 touchdown interception ratio, 225 yards a game, completing over 60% of his passes. What about without Marvin Mims? Oh boy, you see the drop off. Significant. You cannot deny Marvin Mims’s impact on this team. Like I said, he’s the ultimate utility player. This is somebody that can do it in the special teams game. a great returner, but also has transformed his game into kind of like a mini Tyreek Hill. I wouldn’t say he’s exactly at Tyreek Hill’s level yet, but you can see the similarities in their games. Now, maybe Marvin Mims will never ever get to that level. Okay, probably true. Tyreek Hill is one of one, but could Marvin Mims develop his game to where he became the Broncos version of Tyreek Hill? Absolutely. and then you really start to see the offense start to cook. So, that’s some great stuff. That’s a lot of positive momentum and I hope he gets back on the field this coming week. Before we get into the breakdown on our boy Courtland Sutton, I got to tell you about this amazing deal that’s going on right now. It’s been a while since we’ve pushed any product down your throat, but this time it’s for good reason. This Bonix jersey right now, not just this one, in any color that you need, is $40 off. You got to take advantage of these deals as they come along because let me tell you, they will not be here for long. Time and these deals are fleeting. So, do me a favor. Use the link that I’ve put in the comments and description of today’s video. Go to chatports.com/boicks jersey. That’s chatports.com/bonicks jersey. Start shopping today. You don’t necessarily need to get the jersey. You can get hats, gloves, shirts, jerseys, anything you want. Use the link that I put in the comments and description below. So, this is uh notably hilarious and not in the good way. Courtland Sutton hasn’t outtargeted Troy Franklin in any of the last five games that the Denver Broncos have played. Over that time, Troy Franklin is the per game wide receiver 24 in fantasy and Sutton is wide receiver 48. Now, I don’t tell you that because you need help with your fantasy leagues. I tell you that to show you the disparity of targets that both of those players have been getting. By the way, Courtland Sutton is your best wide receiver. So, the fact that Bo Nicks is not targeting him nearly as much and trying to feed Troy Franklin is something that needs to change immediately because that stat is unacceptable, almost as unacceptable as their air yardage share. Holy cow. This is in the last calendar month. Courtland Sutton is only getting 20% of the air yardage shares versus Troy Franklin’s almost 50%. Translation, Bo drops back. Every other throw, it’s to Troy Franklin. I mean, but you know what? It’s okay. It’s not hurting the Broncos. I mean, by their record-wise, right? They’re 8-2. one of the best in the very le in the league, but it is noticeable amongst other members of the NFL community. Jeff Legwald is the Broncos reporter for ESPN. Covers this team on a daily basis just like I do, just like Pera does, just like my boy Ben does at Sports Talk Denver. And here’s what he had to say about the Broncos offense. The juice has been fleeting, especially in the first three quarters. The Broncos have trailed in every game this season and have had to come up with fourth quarter comebacks in the four of their eight wins. That’s half. Thursday also marked the fourth time this season the Denver Broncos did not score in the first quarter. Okay, so there’s a lot to unpack there. The Broncos clearly have been inconsistent this year. That’s what that quote basically signifies. Here’s also what we know. If Courtland Sutton isn’t getting targeted target targeted as much, Boicks is struggling. We saw that in the last episode that we did where we talked about how the Broncos were third in the NFL in dropped passes, 9.7% of Bose throws, 10% of Bose throws, not to sound like Dr. Seuss, are dropped by Broncos wide receivers. Troy Franklin’s hands are not the best part of his game. In fact, boom. This is from the fan. This is a Denver Broncos radio station telling you this. Thank you, producer Reed. 10% of Bose’s passes have been dropped by Broncos receiving targets so far this season. That’s by pro- football focus. That’s awful. So, we have broken down so many times. I don’t need to keep beating a dead horse. you know where the Broncos offensive struggles seem to lie in, but I’m expecting to see a big Courtland Sutton game this coming season, excuse me, this coming game against the Chiefs. And even with the lack of target shares and even with the lack of productivity in the last couple of weeks, Cordland Sutton is still giving you a really good season. He’s averaging 14 and a half yards per reception, 590 yards, very, very close to another 1,000 yard season. He’s got to have another couple big games. 41 receptions. He’s got 66 targets. So, Cordland Sutton continues to impress me. But, as I alluded to in the last episode, I don’t necessarily know that against the Chiefs, you want to throw the ball 38 plus times. There is a way to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. You got to keep Mahomes out of rhythm. That starts by keeping them off the field. Put the ball in the hands of JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey. Let them dice the Kansas City Chiefs defense. Death by a thousand cuts. Step two, defensively press the wide receivers off the line. You got no Pat Certan right now. That’s a disadvantage. You’re going up against Rasheed Rice, Travis Kelce, Hollywood Brown, and Xavier Worthy. You’re going to have to body those guys. Establish physicality off the line of scrimmage. Step three, most important one by far, defensively, what the Eagles did in the Super Bowl. fourman front, drop seven in coverage. You’re gonna rush Zack Allen, John Franklin Meyers, Nick Bonito, Jonathan Cooper. Let him cook. Let him eat. And finally, step four, just like I said, limit Bo to 25 to 28 attempts this game. I don’t think Bo is quite ready yet to take on the responsibility of throwing the ball 45 times a game without a miraculous comeback. We saw that against the Philadelphia Eagles. We saw that against the New York Giants. I’m not saying he can’t do it at certain times, but throughout the course of the game, all 60 minutes of the game, we’ve seen him go up and down. So, why not just eliminate the up and down? Just give him 26 passing attempts. Let him complete 19 of those. 200 yards, two touchdowns, walk on out of Empower Field at Mile High with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, before I take on off out of here, a reminder to hit that subscribe button. We are well on our way to 48,000 subs here on the channel. That is an unbelievable milestone that I quite frankly, if you had told me this when I took over in May that we were going to hit that in November, I wouldn’t have believed you. But Broncos country shows up, they show out. Join the Broncos family for daily Denver Broncos content. My high salute to you, Broncos country. Be cool. [Music]

  1. Is it possible stay with me here… that if you looked at the tape last year the reliance on Sutton would maby idk game plan around shutting Sutton down or forcing him into something he’s not great at. Who’s guarding Sutton it’s their cb1. If I was playing against Denver I would have the corner play tight and have a safety help over the top. Sutton isent the fastest wr he’s a great mid to deep ball wr. And if we compare stats from last year in comparison I think that game plan would hinder Bo nix

  3. Seen a lot of Broncos fans doubting Bo Nix recently just because he isn’t playing well. But they haven’t considered one important factor. Bo Nix leads the league in aura and aura wins super bowls šŸŽ‰
