What The FILM Says About The Steelers’ Week 10 Loss vs. LAC + HUGE Injury News For Bengals Week

[Music] It’s officially overreaction Monday here on Steelers Talk after the Pittsburgh Steelers took a big fat embarrassing L in front of a national audience versus the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football last night. And today I’ve got my film takeaways offense and defense from this football game. everything that you guys need to know and some of the extra nuances that I picked up after watching the film earlier today. And make sure you guys stay tuned to the end of today’s show for my biggest frustration with this year’s Pittsburgh Steelers team. You’re not going to want to miss that. So, make sure you guys stick around to the end of our takeaways today. But then also make sure you guys click that thumbs up icon if you haven’t already. If you bleed black and gold, no matter what, if you love this football team, no matter how bad they play, no matter how good they play, if you love the Pittsburgh Steelers, and you’re never going to give up on this football team, give me a thumbs up uh down there uh and like today’s video. So, first guys, let’s start with the offense, cuz this was the reason why the Pittsburgh Steelers lost last night versus the Los Angeles Chargers. They had by far their worst offensive performance of the season. And it really all starts with the quarterback Aaron Rogers. If I’d have to I said it last night on the postgame reaction show, if I had to blame one person for the loss, I have to go with Aaron. He was overshooting passes. He was running into pressure at times. Uh you know, if it wasn’t for garbage time, he wouldn’t have even uh completed half of his passes. That’s how bad Aaron Rodgers was playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday. and he like full regressed back to, you know, terrible New York Jets version of Aaron Rodgers. You know, had a touchdown, but that was in garbage time. Threw two interceptions, even though one of those was not on him. But it would just wasn’t a good day from Aaron Rogers. He wasn’t able to complete anything on third down. He was not able to win that uh, you know, chess match between him and defensive coordinator for the Chargers, Jesse Miner, all day long. And plain and simply, man, you know, if you’re looking for one number for the number one reason why the Steelers lost this ball game, it is because Aaron Rodgers decided to have his worst game in his Steelers tenure to this point. And, you know, frankly, it would have been even worse if Jaylen Warren didn’t carry this offense, especially in the second half when they were making some attempts to drive down the field and, you know, Aaron just didn’t deliver. And, you know, uh, you know, with all that said, I do expect Rogers to probably bounce back in the weeks to come. Like, let’s face it, man. The Rogers that we saw in the first eight games of the season versus the Rogers that we saw last night was not the same person. All right. Rogers has actually played pretty well, uh, you know, he’s taken care of the football. He’s already gotten more touchdown passes this year, midway through the season, uh, than any Steelers quarterback, you know, post Big Ben has gotten over the course of an entire season. His quarterback rating is is hovering around a 100red, and that is with that terrible performance last night. So Aaron Rogers is still a quarterback that I think, you know, can play the style of quarterback that this team needs in order to be competitive. Obviously, I think we all know and we all realized even heading into this season that this probably wasn’t going to be a great truly elite offense, but I think that this team certainly has what it takes under Aaron Rogers to be a very good offense. All right. And then you’re really depending on the defense to really turn it up if this team is going to be anything more than, you know, a 9 and 8, 10 and seven, you know, first round playoff exit type of squad. But I don’t expect the Aaron Rogers that we saw last night to be a mainstay as we head down the final stretch of the 2025 season. But I guess only time will tell if that ends up being the case. But let me know what you guys think down there in the comments section for today’s pin question. What is your concern level for Aaron Rodgers at this point in the year after last night’s performance? Put it on a scale of one meaning not worried at all. Aaron’s going to be fine to 10 meaning, oh my gosh, this guy’s terrible. You know, all these different things. It’s time to, you know, start Mason Rudolph, all this different stuff. Uh, let me know what you guys think down there in the comments section for today’s pin question. YouTube’s going to throw an ad break here in just a couple of seconds. And when that happens, take advantage of that time by letting me know your concern level for QB1. But now outside of Aaron Rogers, you know, I just think that the Steelers offense was terrible on possession down football. You know, before garbage time, they were zero for 10 on third and fourth down attempts. Now, obviously, two of those 10, so that’s 20% of your attempts. Uh, you know, there was some pretty obvious DPIs that weren’t called by the referees in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean that the Steelers did a good job on possession downs on those other eight instances, right? I thought, you know, the Chargers did a really good job taking Aaron Rogers’s first read away, especially on those quick game concepts that he really likes. Double slant, dragon, uh, you know, stick. You know, they did a really good job, you know, taking that underneath stuff away. Uh, and, you know, Rogers kind of panicked, you know, ran into pressure at times and, you know, Rogers missed some throws and just a lot of different contributing factors on third down leading to, uh, some really bad play on possession downs. And you know, plain and simply, Mike Tomlin said it in the postgame press conference last night. If you can’t win on third and fourth down on offense at all, you’re not going to win football games in this league. Unfortunately, that’s really the crux of why the Steelers were so bad in this football game. Uh but then, you know, you talk about the run game and I thought it was another slow start for the Steelers run game and you could definitely tell that they missed Isaac Slo out there. Eventually, they got the run game going a little bit. Jaylen Warren um you know ended up with almost a hundred uh scrimmage yards on the day. He was really the only one getting really anything going offensively. So you know it’s nice that you have Jaylen Warren but this wasn’t the first time where it felt like at times you know Jaylen Warren has just carried this offense throughout games and you know he’s pretty clearly the best offensive player. Got to get him the football. Um and the Steelers certainly did that more than they got the ball to anybody else on the offense yesterday. Um, but you know, you want to see that run game be more consistent throughout four quarters. And really, the lack of a run game in the early part of the game has been a big reason why, you know, they’re they’re getting off to really slow starts. And, you know, I I really think that the less that you play jumbo personnel in this offense, which is really the identity of this team. And when it’s played well, they’ve really uh leaned into the jumbo personnel u you know, kind of looks. But they had to play it less this week because you didn’t have Isaac Sabalo and you know, you get worse results. I mean, the first three weeks of the season when the Steelers weren’t playing a lot of jumbo, I mean, this offense didn’t look all that great outside of the Jets game. And then all of a sudden, you know, you go to jumbo in week four in Dublin and then, you know, you have this good stretch of offensive play and now over the last two weeks when Seamal has largely been out, it just hasn’t been uh the same. And you know, we’ve kind of regressed back to what this offense looked like in the first few weeks where you really can’t run the football, especially early in games. And yesterday they only tried jumbo personnel where they brought in Andrew Pete to play left guard nine times uh versus the Chargers. And uh even when they played jumbo, it wasn’t nearly as effective as when Isaac Samalo’s out there. So I think, you know, you got to get Seamalo back. And you know what’s scary about this situation is that, you know, you take away one starting offensive lineman here with the Steelers offensive line and you can make an argument it just breaks this offense. you know, uh, this team is so dependent on being able to run those jumbo personnel looks at fully at full health and like what are the odds that you’re going to be able to keep all seven members of that unit healthy? You know, talking about Darnell and talking about Spencer and then all five members of the offensive line. What are the odds that you’re going to be able to keep all five members of the offensive line healthy for the rest of the season? I mean, that’s that’s it’s going to take a little bit of luck for sure if the Steelers are going to do that. But getting Seamalo back and it sounds like he he’s gonna have a chance to play this week against the Bengals will be huge to getting this offense back on the right track. But then also, man, you didn’t trade for a receiver this week. Uh this team, you know, in some in some ways put their faith in Calvin Austin the third and Roman Wilson to step up as legitimate number two and number three receiver options. And you know, I’m I’m specifically disappointed in Calvin Austin the third because you guys know, if you’ve been watching the channel, I think Calvin Austin the third is a pretty decent wide receiver. I think that, you know, maybe he’s a he’s a pretty low-end number two, but he is a starting caliber receiver, but you need to get more out of him, man. If you’re not going to go out and get a Jacobe Myers, if you’re not going to go out and get a Rashid Shahid, if you don’t go out and get the Jaylen Wadd deal done by the deadline, you know, Calvin’s got to step up into that number two role. There’s no other way about it. And, you know, teams are doubling DK Metaf a lot. There’s a lot of one-on-one opportunities. And Calvin just played a really bad game yesterday, man. honestly one of the worst games of his career as a starter for this offense. You know, he wasn’t getting open enough. He made a couple really uncharacteristic drops. He had two drops yesterday and he only had one the entire season before going into last night. He had one drop led to an interception. Uh he, you know, he didn’t get both feet down on one play. You know, Calvin, you know, just a really uncharacteristic bad game from him. now. Um, he’s going to have to really bounce back if this offense is going to be able to get teams off of DK Metaf and Roman Wilson is also going to have to step up as well. He got some time during garbage time. But, you know, certainly after the way Calvin played in this game, it would not shock me at all if Aaron Rogers uh advocates for his buddy MVS to get more playing time and be elevated from the practice squad this week. Of course, he didn’t get elevated this week. uh they’re taking their time ramping them up, but after seeing what Calvin did yesterday, after what Roman did yesterday, not really doing much for the offense, um you know, something tells me that Rogers is going to be like, “All right, I I trust MVS. Let’s get him into the lineup here and see what he can do.” Um and and we’ll see if that move ends up panning out. But then, uh talking about the tight ends, I think that there’s something that they need to do and I think it’s time to phase out John Smith. Okay. Um obviously, you end up trading for him. you give him top 10 tight end money after having kind of an outlier kind of Pro Bowl caliber season for the Dolphins last year and you know it just hasn’t worked out man. They’re using him a lot. They’re playing him very very regularly and he can’t get open versus man coverage. He’s not particularly good with his hands. Um you know and honestly he’s not as good of a yak threat as he was last year for Miami. So he only had one catch for four yards for a full-time starting player on offense yesterday. It’s just not productive enough, man. And the thing that is also pretty frustrating about this team insisting on playing Jonnu Smith as much as they do is that Pat Farmouth has actually been very productive this year. He has actually been very good this season. For the most part, he’s had some drops and he’s made some mistakes, but for the most part, man, when you look at the EPA per target, like Pat Fmouth might be the most valuable uh receiving threat the Steelers have on their team on a perarget basis. you know, he he does a really good job finding soft spots in zones. He’s got good hands to make contested catches. Um, you know, he can be that safety blanket for Aaron Rogers. And unfortunately, this team, you know, kind of tends to lean more towards Janu Smith being the true receiving tight end. But Pat Firemouth, in my opinion, is clearly the best receiving tight end on this team. It’s not close. He should be easily outnapping John Smith. Unfortunately, at this point, it’s kind of the other way around at this point in time. Now, you know, I look at, you know, this offense and, you know, my kind of my kind of takeaway and my kind of silver lining and my kind of thought on this offense is that this was an outlier performance from this group. Okay? And, you know, of course, there’s es and flows over the course of an NFL season. You play good games, you play bad games. Like, teams aren’t just playing the same way every single week. you know, there’s they play different every single week. Now, I think that the Steelers offense and the team in general fluctuates a bit too much. That is a is a defining weakness of this team this season. Um, but you know, the average points per game before heading into this game, guy, was over 25 points. So, the Steelers offense pretty regularly gets between that 23 and 27 point range. Obviously, they didn’t come close to that in this game. So, um, you know, I do have hope that this offense can bounce back in weeks to come and and play like they have in the throughout most of the first half of the season. Uh, but certainly concerning that this offense played that poorly, especially against a playoff caliber defense, which you’re going to be asked to beat once you get to potentially the playoffs in January. So, coming up here on Steelers Talk, my defensive takeaways. All right, I got eight more takeaways. this time on the defensive side of the ball. Uh, which was a lot more positive than negative in my opinion in this ball game. But before we get into the rest of today’s show, let’s have a word from our sponsor here. Defense was a lot better in situational ball this week. getting T.J. Watt said in his postgame press conference that they’re not doing a good enough job with this, but you know, in this game they were six to 17 on third down. Okay, they were pretty darn good. You only allowing a first down on about 35% of the third down attempts for Los Angeles. And I actually thought that the pass coverage held up really well on third down. They made plays to get the Chargers off the field a number of times in this ball game. Um just unfortunately the Steelers uh defense was on the field for so much in this game that it was it’s it’s just hard to keep a team down when they’re on the field for that much of game time. Uh but also I thought the pass rush showed up. All right, looking at the film I thought TJ Watt absolutely showed up in this game. Um I thought Alex Heismith showed up. He got a couple sacks. Nick Herbig got a sack in this one. I thought the Interior guys were winning their one-on-one matchups as well. Uh so it certainly wasn’t bad. Adam, when you look at the numbers and especially when you put the numbers in contact in context that Justin Herbert was getting the ball out of his hands like that, a 2.2 second average time to throw from Justin Herbert. That’s actually I think the fastest that any quarterback has had against the Steelers this year. You still had an over 30% pressure rate. Uh you also had five sacks and you know I thought that you were affecting Herbert especially on those third downs that we discussed. Uh, so, you know, I thought that the pass rush did show up in this game. Unfortunately, uh, the offense, uh, did not. And, you know, I thought that the run game, uh, run defense in particular probably was the weakness for the Steelers defense last night. We’ll get to that here in a second, though. Uh, but I thought I, you know, I want to give a special shout out here to Keano Benton, who followed up an excellent performance against the Colts last week with yet another strong showing. Benton is really starting to come into his own as a legitimate starting player in my opinion. And even though he’s not the best run defender in the world, he is making plays against the run. Had four pressures last night. Benton my opinion uh is starting to really solidify himself as a legitimate starting presence here in the National Football League. Uh but you know, the Steelers and something that I didn’t love this week, even though I thought they played man better than they had all year this year, they played more man coverage, lots of cover one. Once again, the Steelers love to play man coverage, and I can’t tell you why, man. This this team is not particularly great when playing man coverage. Brandon Eckles certainly gave up more than his fair share of his losses in one-on-one coverage yesterday. Uh, but generally speaking, I thought that, you know, Pittsburgh looked about as good in man coverage as they looked all year. Darius Slay before his injury actually had some pretty decent reps in man coverage. Uh, Joey Porter Jr. uh, certainly played well in man coverage last night in my opinion. Uh James Pierre showed up more than once in man coverage as well. Played played well in that regard. Thought Brandon Eckles was probably the worst man corner on the team yesterday. But um you know I I want to see this team still be more zone. you know, I want to see this team uh, you know, be more co, you know, Tampa 2 and in quarters, even though that’s man match and cover six. And, you know, right now, guys, when you look at the splits, the Steelers defense is number one in the league in EPA per play allowed when they play quarters. And I believe they’re still top five when they play cover six. And yet, the Steelers are near the bottom of the league in the amount in the percentage of plays where they play quarters and cover six. So, you know, it’s just frustrating to me that they just keep banging their head against the wall here trying to be a man coverage team. And even though it worked out uh a little bit last night, you know, where you your secondary was actually able to make some plays, I still think that this team is better suited by playing that majority two high safety shell uh with the two rundefending safeties and playing a lot more quarters uh than what the Steelers are currently doing right now. Uh but some specific notes here on guys in the secondary. I thought James Pierre looked really solid, man. Multiple PBUs. He was he was doing a really good job in man coverage all night long. No major losses in coverage. Um you know he looked pretty darn solid. He looked good against Indianapolis too. So he might be working his way more onto the field. He also had a really good preeason and training camp with multiple interceptions. So Pierre just continues to play his way into more reps and more playing time. And somebody that might have played himself into maybe some some less playing time is Brandon Eckles. Um who is certainly taking his lumps in man coverage. I think Eckles is is a better uh zone corner than he is a man corner. He got destroyed multiple times yesterday against Vadonkey, Keenan Allen, anybody that was lining up against him in the slot pretty much had their way with him. Um he made some good plays, but he he gave up a lot of yardage yesterday in man coverage. And for somebody that’s played some pretty good ball this year, uh you know, it wasn’t a good day for 26 at the office last night. And you know, if Asante Samuel Jr. signs with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week on Wednesday. Um, you know, I might start James Pierre on the outside along with Joey Porter Jr. It sounds like Darius Slay might be missing some time with that concussion. If you sign Asante Samuel Jr. this week, I would probably put Asante in the slot. He’s a good slot corner and I would have James Pierre and Joey Porter Jr. playing on the outside and I would have Eckles be my kind of depth piece at the cornerback position uh moving into next week. That’s probably the way that I would do it at this point. Now we get to uh the run defense and I did think that the Steelers run defense took a step back in run defense. All right. Uh it certainly wasn’t as solid as it was against Green Bay and against Indianapolis. Kamani Vidal had almost almost 100 yards rushing, but I I do think part of that is just attrition. You know, the the the defense being on the field for as many plays and as much of the game clock as they were on the field for. you know, you could tell in the second half they were getting tired and you know, frankly, some guys were were not playing disciplined in that second half. Namely, I would say the biggest culprit of that and really it has been throughout the entire season as has was Patrick Queen. And I think, you know, it’s it’s time to have an honest discussion about PQ. Uh, I know that, you know, when the Steelers signed him, he was an allp pro caliber cal caliber player, you know, in that Ravens defense where he had Rocoan Smith to be the green dot and the main communicator and PQ could just use his athleticism and he played well in that Mike McDonald defense. Uh, you know, that one season where he made all pro. Then he comes to Pittsburgh here and he gets all this money and, you know, he’s expected to be the every down type of uh green dot inside linebacker. Uh, but he’s a liability out there, man. He really is. He he’s out of position a lot in run defense. He’s not filling his run fit. And you know, a lot of times he puts himself in positions to miss tackles. He currently has the highest missed tackle rate in the National Football League among linebackers at 23.3%. He’s missing almost one tackle for every four attempts that he tries to tackle somebody. That is unheard of from for an NFL linebacker, man. You’re paying this guy as much as you’re paying him. You brought him in to be the quote unquote quarterback of your defense. and you know, it just hasn’t been good. And then in pass coverage, it seems, especially like in the red zone, like quarterbacks find Patrick Queen and they manipulate the out of him and then, you know, they just throw it to whoever he’s guarding because he’s not in position. And uh he has not been good in pass coverage this year. He’s been one of the worst run defending uh uh inside linebackers in football. Now, yeah, you know, Patrick will make some splash plays because he’s a crazy good athlete. He’s a pretty good blitzer. Um, and you know, when he, you know, finds a clear lane to go and attack a a running back, he can get some splash plays and some TFLs and some sacks and do all that stuff, but very rarely do you see him make the right play um in run defense when he’s not just shooting a gap when when he’s when he’s in pass coverage, things that you expect your number one linebacker to do. And like, you guys want to know where all the miscommunications are coming from? You want to know why miscommunication has been such a big issue for this Steelers defense over the last two years? Well, maybe it’s the guy that’s responsible for communicating with the rest of the defense. All right, maybe it’s Patrick Queen who is literally the most important communicator on the defense. I mean, Mike Tomlin says it himself. He says he’s the quarterback of the defense. So, if people are not in the right spot, if people are confused about what their role is, Patrick Queen has a very big responsibility for that. and I think he’s been the biggest culprit over the last two years as the quarterback of the defense for these miscommunications that we have been seeing um in the Pittsburgh Steelers defense over the last two seasons. Um now, you know, I’ve been kind of crapping on the Steelers here today for sure and it wasn’t a good performance yesterday. Uh but I will say, you know, the silver lining on defense is that this unit has turned a little bit of a corner. All right, against Indianapolis and against Los Angeles, this team has played, you know, pretty decently. They’ve created turnover opportunities for themselves. Uh they got off the field on third down quite a bit in this game against the Chargers. Um you know, they’re getting after the quarterback. I think they’re doing a better job taking away those first read throws for quarterbacks. Um I think this defense is getting better as the season goes on. Uh but obviously, you know, the offense needs to show up in order for this defense to um kind of do everything that it needs to do. But, you know, that kind of brings me to what’s most frustrating about this year’s Pittsburgh Steelers team for me, guys, which is that we’ve seen both sides of the ball this year, offense and defense play really well this year. There’s been individual performances and even stretches where the offense has looked really good and the defense has looked really good, but they very rarely play well together. Okay? And you know, when they do play together, at least somewhat like in the Indianapolis game. Okay? U you know that look at what look what you’re able to do. you were able to take the number one seed in the AFC at the time and have that game wrapped up at home by the midway point in the fourth quarter. I mean, really impressive performance. But the problem, especially over the last four games in the three games that you have lost, is that, you know, one side of the football is doing a really good job and they’re doing, you know, their part to try and win the ball game, but then the other side is completely crapping the bed. And you just can’t do that if you want to be consistent football team in the National Football League. And you know what’s so frustrating about this Steelers team, guys, is that we know that this team has the talent and the ability to be able to be one of the more balanced and one of the more dangerous teams in a wideopen AFC. But with the way that they’re playing, man, from a week- toeek basis, a whole side of the football is completely incompetent. I mean, that is what’s so frustrating about this team is because we know they have the potential, but they’re not consistent enough to reach that potential. Now, there’s still time to be able to figure it out and there’s still time for the offense and the defense to, you know, kind of, you know, align at the right time and play really good football down the stretch and, you know, get some statement victories against teams like Buffalo and and and the Ravens and uh and Detroit and, you know, you have some great opportunities coming up towards the end of your schedule here, but the clock is ticking, man. And if Aaron Rod and if Mike Tomlin can’t get this team to the playoffs this year, um, you know, and and this inconsistently inconsistency kind of continues throughout the course of the entire season, I think you got to look at potentially trading Mike Tomlin for a first round pick next off season. Now, with that said, I still think everything is still in front of this team. I still think that the Steelers can absolutely still make the playoffs and they can easily even still win the division. Okay, I know that with the momentum and everything, the Steelers have lost three out of their last four. The Ravens have won three straight. They’re only one game behind the Steelers in the division standings. It feels like the Ravens are an inevitability in the AFC North. But I still think it’s actually a good time to bet on the Steelers to win the to win the division this year because you take a look at Baltimore’s final stretch. All right, definitely over the next two weeks are games that they should probably win. But then it sounds like Joe Burrow is going to be back for the Bengals by the time that they play both of their games against Cincinnati. I think there’s a decent chance they could split that divisional matchup with Joe Burrow uh being able to come back. I think they probably maybe split against uh the new the Pittsburgh Steelers like they usually do. And then you got two really tough games at the end of the season as well against the Patriots and the Packers. Those two could easily be losses for the Baltimore Ravens. So, you know, the Ravens certain that four and five, they can really only afford two more losses to get to that 10 win mark. Uh, but there’s I I would say there’s four potential losses left on their schedule right there. And, you know, obviously if that happens, you’re sitting at what what we be sitting at, seven and 10 if they get all four of those losses. So, I still think it’s very possible that if the Pittsburgh Steelers get to nine or 10 wins, uh, the AFC North could absolutely still be um, you know, in hand for them. So, you know, you look at the Steelers schedule the rest of the way. Can we find, you know, uh, you know, four or five more wins? I certainly can. You know, Cincinnati is a team where if the defense just plays better than they did last time, and the defense has been playing better lately, you should be able to win that game at home. Aaron Rogers traditionally plays extremely well in Chicago, and that team is extremely fraudulent in my opinion. You can certainly win that game in Chicago. Buffalo has really struggled against jumbo personnel this season, and they can’t stop the run. And I think the Steelers could get a big upset in week 13. That’s already three right there. And then if you split versus uh Baltimore, you know, you just have to win one between Miami or Cleveland to get the 10 wins if that’s the case. All right. So, I still think there’s a everything is still in front of this team. Um, you know, there’s still hope for the season. I really do think that this Steelers team has the potential to be, you know, the team that is most likely for play to have playoff success since 20 since the 2017 season. All right. I think that Rogers um you know is certainly capable of playing better than he did last night. I think that this defense is starting to turn a little bit of a corner and hopefully they continue to play well and get after quarterbacks. Hopefully, you know, this offense as a whole bounces back in the weeks to come and I certainly still think under Mike Tomlin, you know, nine wins, 10 wins, 11 wins is still within reach for the Pittsburgh Steelers even after last night’s loss. And now we shift our focus to week 11 versus the Cincinnati Bengals in a game that really feels like a must-win. And once again, it appears that not only is Joe Burrow likely to not be playing, even though his 21-day practice window just opened today, but head coach Zack Taylor has told reporters now that Trey Hendrickson is doubtful to return this week versus the Steelers. Hendrickson’s been dealing with an injury here for quite a while. Been battling with that. Uh, obviously Hendrickson did not play in the first game versus the Steelers, but whenever Trey Hendrickson is not out there on the field, guys, that just makes their defense even worse. And this is a Steelers offense that put up over 30 points against this Bengals defense the last time they met on Thursday Night Football. Uh, so, you know, they’re going to be without Joe Burrow for their second straight game against the Steelers. They’re going to likely be without Trey Hendrickson as well. Uh, those two players are arguably the two best players on their team, maybe outside of Jamar Chase. So, um, you certainly got to handle Jamar Chase better than he did last week, but the having these two guys out of the lineup certainly increased the Steelers’ chances of getting a win. And certainly with these two guys out and coming off, you know, a big loss on Sunday Night Football, losing three out of your last four, this really feels like a must-win for the Pittsburgh Steelers. is if they can’t win this game, if they can’t beat the Bengals, uh, and they get swept by the Bengals without Trey Hendrickson and without Joe Burrow, how can we have any confidence in this team to turn it around and win against Buffalo and win against Baltimore and win against Detroit and, you know, win some of these games that they’re going to have to win in order to win the division and make it to the playoffs this year. 1. If Rodgers completes 3 passes we win this game. 1)DK Metcalf overthrown pass for a touchdown
2)Jonu Smith the same Overthrown pass, if he leads him correctly it's a definite touchdown
3)Kenneth gaienwell overthrown pass, if he throws appropriately he turns and scores pretty easily.

  2. Our defense was good when Beanie was in the lineup, Tomlin benched him for an old man Sutton. Then Tomlin goes out and gets Echols who is as slow as I am. Porter can’t catch anything unless it hits him in the stomach. Beanie would have 3 picks by now and he DEFINITELY is fast enough to recover.

  3. I mean, come on, the line looked terrible and the receivers weren’t open. Yeah, he looked frustrated angry and off, but to put it all on him isn’t fair.

  4. the film say Omar is a con man and had no intentions of getting a #2 wr they are going withn a # 4 wr in Austin and don't give a 2nd round pick any playing time now lets go to the rb warren isn't a #1

  5. Hopefully we get our shit together, the Steelers have a fairly tough schedule ahead but they can beat any team if they get there heads screwed on straight.

  6. I am from Wisconsin and a Packer fan. But also watch steeler games because of ARod. Some people in these channels are sounding like Jets fans last year. He had a bad game. Right away people start hating on him. Really hope he retires after this season as a Packer.

  7. GRANDPA JUST PANICKED WHEN HE WAS UNDER PRESSURE I HOPE WE SIGN HIM FOR NEXT YEAR HE WILL HAVE ANOTHER YEAR EXPERIENCE 42 YEARS I THINK THOES RAT BIRDS ARE GOING TO TAKE BELT TO ASS TO US BOTH GAMES HOW ARE WE GOING TO STOP THOES RAT BIRDS WERE NOT 😞😞😞

  8. Sorry Jack, but calling you out, did you not suggest the Team trade 88 Pat? I can play the video for you and I believe I commented on NOT trading him. Muth is still there and doing his job.

All in joking, love the channel. But look into it. LMFAO

  9. When you get an old dog they are great, but it is hard to train. I see the same with Patrick Queen. The team expected the same production and paid him for it however it is a new system. I am not giving up on him and he has the drive to succeed which can't be trained or taught.
