Let’s get this Arty started.

OP be like “lemme just drop this here” loll
Either would’ve been a good pick and there’s still a lot of time to make judgements but it’s almost like KD knows what he’s doing. Weird!
Great start for arty! But the biggest thing is if both these guys hit their potential, a RHD has way more value than a RW
I was in the demidov camp and he may turn out to be the better player, but I can understand and respect taking Lev at 2OA now
I thought Lev should’ve been the pick based on positional need and I’m obviously glad he’s working out, but it _definitely_ stings seeing so many highlight clips of Demidov. He’s a bonafide stud and that Montreal team is so exciting right now.
Where that one dude that said oh Lev is ass oh Lev is making too many mistakes I want an apology
Arty has been great. Even from the start of the season there has been so much improvement
I don’t really think there’s value in comparing the assist totals for these players. Levshunov’s assists have been mostly secondary, whereas Demidov’s have mostly been primary.
But Demidov is a winger. Putting up points is what he’s on the ice to do. Levshunov is a defenseman. So I don’t particularly care that he’s not singlehandedly driving as much offense.
I’ve loved the growth Levshunov has shown this season, and I think he’s only scratching the surface. He just turned 20 like a week ago. If he becomes an elite #1 defenseman, that’s much more valuable than any flashy winger.
Blackhawks win Stanley Cup in 2028 – mark it
Loving this team
To be fair to Demidov he is also playing 2 less minutes per game and has been far better than expected defensively. Better than Lev so far.
I was a Demidov believer, but I can certainly see Lev has major potential.
His defensive play has been pretty banger too. There’s been numerous moments where I’ve exclaimed “nice play!” out loud while watching him live this season and none of those moments end up in highlights. He’s doin’ the thing he’s supposed to do.
The offense will follow his excellent skating.
