Our Special Teams have left much to be asked for this season and I don’t really see that as something that’ll change soon.

  1. Are you kidding me? This guy is the fucking great white whale of fish to fry. I’ve never seen a special teams unit as bad as this one.

Where is my guy Joe DeCamillis??

  2. John Timu not getting enough attention either. Idk what he did wrong, but he’s probably responsible for all of this

  3. The Falcons have a lifetime record of 393-518-6, 17 winning seasons (including the strike-shortened 1982 season, so who knows where that would have ended) compared to 38 losing seasons. We’ve been terrible almost our entire history. Our current record this year is only about one game worse than our overall record. Morris’ record as an HC is right inline with where we are.

Why we expect an organization that steeped in suckery to suddenly take drastic steps to improve? While our record is better under Blank’s ownership than it was under the Smiths’, it’s still below .500. He’s owned the team for more than 20 years. If he cared about winning, wouldn’t he have done something about it already? I think he just likes owning the team and having MB stadium to play in.

No settled system will make a drastic change until the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of making the change. Apparently there hasn’t been enough suffering yet. Maybe if we were 0-9, but 3-6 doesn’t seem to be it. Still mathematically possible to have a winning season or to make the playoffs, so I’m resigning myself to being stuck with our staff for the rest of the year.
