the Rock. Hughes back to Jack Hughes. Hughes to the dock. Hughes still with it looking for 
a deflection in front. Soken steers it. Luke Hughes to Jack Hughes to the goal line. 
Centers the Heir and he’s spotted wide. Now to Jack. Hash marks heir. Back to Jack. 
Straight up top for Luke. Creeps up. Finds Brad centering pass to team Omire and he scores 
and the Devils score in the power play and they take a one nothing lead initially. But the Devils 
again on this power play. I love G Islanders kept everything to the outside. Were doing a good 
job with the Devils good puck retrieval and they stayed with it. spent the whole time in 
the offensive zone and finally a seam opens up right here for team O Meer and the quick shot 
after the only two shots. One of them went in for the Devils and they’ve got the one- nothing 
lead and Islanders still looking for their first shot. Nearly 6 minutes played Mcuan sharp angle 
shot saved by Sroen. I’m one of those guys that believes it’s good to have different guys in the 
lineup. No, we don’t want you don’t want injuries, but Jack Hughes with a shot stick aside by Sroen. 
Centering pass doesn’t get to Glen Denning held in by Dill. Luke Hughes with a spinama to the 
circle and a shot and a belly save by Sroken. Thank you Rachel. It’s so hard to win that much 
production. Here’s Luke Hughes. Shot. Holstrom got in the way. Goes out to Glendenning with a shot 
to win wide. Teras prone in the crease. Bounces back out to center ice. I’ll tell you Luke Hughes 
has had a terrific start to this hockey game. He is absolutely jumping. had an assist on the power 
play goal. He’s had a couple of chances and great spin move for an opportunity. Romano with a 
shot that’s gloved out of the air. Certain guys when they send you and that’s a centering pass 
glass scrambled for possession and Ilia Srogan able to gobble it up outside the crease. They 
developed that quickly as we were talking about coaches but it ends up being a turnover right 
here by Mayfield. tries to go back behind his net. It’s picked off by Pott. He gets it right 
out to Cody Glass for a great scoring chance, but great positioning. Puts it back behind 
that Paul. Sneaky centering pass to Bo Orvat, but he didn’t have an angle. Hinaman D’Angelo 
with a shot to flex wide looking for Sikas. Richie can’t gather it up. Jack can. Here comes 
flying. Huge backhand. Big time bad save by Sroen. Embodies knock the net off. It’s Morren. 
What a great play by Brendan Dylan to bail out Nason on the turnover. Mayfield shot rebound goes 
back to Mayfield and a glove save by Marstrom. So creates an offensive face off. Sikas with it. 
Ziplov tries to stuff it near side. Goes off the side of the cage. Duclair. Duclair off the wall. 
Chopped out by Segan Bowler. Conor by himself. He’s got Pulock to get around. He manages to gets 
a shot away as Sroken makes the save. Brings it into the zone. Dangles the blue line but loses the 
puck to Meyer who will skate with Pratt. Islanders do get back. Meyer flings it on. Paddle away by 
Sroken. Kicks it to his stick. Leaves it back for Cotter. Dangles the blue line but his pass 
is picked off by Duclair and the Islanders will hit the red line. Send a bouncing puck on and 
Marshon was forced to make the save. That was a little bit tricky there. That save the short 
hop. Zikas with the steal, but it bounces back out to center ice. Glass. Great pass to Critsuk. 
Grits with a heave and a save by Sroken. Cleared back out. Richie taps it ahead. But the Devils 
are there and send it back where Kane came back at his own with under a minute to play in the 
period. Another good save by Sroken. There’s that quick release and heavy shot from Gritsuk again. 
Hinaman Ciplov at the circle surrounded by Devils. Forced to the glass by Mchuan. 40 seconds to go 
in the period. Horvette trying to loosen it up and does. Passes back out to Mayfield. Mayfield for 
Horvat. Spins to the blue line. Schaefer with a shot and a glove save by Marstrom and he holds 
on. Jack. Back to Brat. Straight away back to Jack. Sharp angle. Climbs to the circle. Brat back 
to Hughes with a shot and a save by Sroken. Jack taken down. There’s no call. Pure back to five 
on five. Paul Mary fresh out of the box. He’s got Seganthaler to deal with. Spins to his forehand. 
Leaves it back for Pelic with a blast and a belly save on Arstro and the Devils can escape. Three 
on three. Rachel and I just talked about Here’s a shot by Glass. Save rebound. Gil get it. The 
aggressive Sroen comes out. Devils still with it. Pot out to the point but up the far wall. 
White through Glen Denning. Pulock gathers on his forehand. Fires a shot. Chested down by Marstrom. 
Barcel Pellet. Barcel gets it back straight away. Makes a move. Bouncing puck out by Holmstrom. Goes 
out to Drew and with a shot. Marstrom makes the save and the Devils clear. Good puck movement 
there by the Islanders in the Devil zone and Marstrom fights off a couple of opportunities. 
That’s pressure from the Islanders this second period. Barzel Holmstrom. They switch sides. 
Back behind the goal line. Barcel surveys the landscape to the dot. Drops it off for Homestuck 
up the wall. Shot by Mayfield. Blocked in front. Back hand saved by Marstrom and it’s dusted 
into the glove of Marstrom to hold on at right wing into the zone. Drives. Got Paul to deal 
with. Stops back up top for Luke Hughes. Makes a move. Slings a shot off the high glass. Mercer 
tries a wraparound. Save by Sroken. Here’s Dylan. Luke in the slot. Spins trying to shake loose of 
Horvath to the circle. Backand forehand. Sroen stays strong. Couple of pokes at it near the side 
of the net by Heir. Finally cleared by Horvath, but not out of his own as it goes to the wall. 
Hinman without a stick, but Luke can’t keep it. Then he blind passes it where it’s stolen away 
by Paul Merrick. Hollanders in the midst of a change. He’s able to find Harvat who scores. Bor 
Hovat now with six goals in six games. And we’re tied at one for the play. And Paul Mary does a 
really good job of finding him. Now watch here. And Horvac jumps in the play. Nobody can pick him 
up. He snaps one. He can really shoot the puck and you see a little a little confusion there 
as a few Islanders are going to the bench and Horvette elects to stay. Leaves it for Anders 
Lee. Cross ice pass to D’Angelo. D’Angelo his pass goes off a skate. Devils with a chance here. 
Here comes Hughes. Flying Hughes. Shot. Shoulder save by Sroen. And Barcelle gets it back out 
to Mayfield who sends the Islanders out. Picked off by White. Makes a nice move around the wall 
on his back end to his forehand. And a save by Sroen. P. Palot. Hits the red line. Sends it down. 
Sroen’s going to play in the trapezoid. Back hands it up the wall. Stolen. And a shot by Palot is 
steered aside by Sroken. Got back just in time. Sroen didn’t hit his D. You got to open up a lane. 
You got to change your angle to get that shot through. Almost stolen away again as Sroen making 
it an adventure when he handles the puck. At least tonight centering pass and a save by Siroken. 
Seanth up the wall taken by Holmstrom. Back behind the net for Segan Bther. Bouncing puck edge of the 
trapezoid goes back out to Jack Hughes. Holstrom with a shot scramble for possession. Barker makes 
the original save and nothing can get out in front as Drew in center. What a sequence. Remember, 
anything can happen in Jersey and Seanthaler might have made something happen here to make a save 
and keep this game tied at one. See that puck’s loose and look at Seganthaler come across and help 
his goalender out Marstrom after he made a great save. Feathers a pass to Jack with a move around 
Cycl with it. Jab, shot, save, rebound. Another save and with the shot and finally the Islanders 
touch it up. Stays with it. Keeps the feet moving. Draws the tripping call. Devils get Marstrom 
out of the net. Extra attacker Jack Hughes for Luke. Luke. Back to Jack. Jack tries to 
stuff it. Won’t go. Goes to the far boards. Tapped back by Horvat. Couldn’t bat it out 
of the air. Brat. Luke. Jack. Shot. Save. Rebound saved by Sroen. Another rebound steered 
aside with Meer right at the doorstep. Approaching a minute to go on the kill. Barcel back to 
Schaefer. Dances the blue line. Back out to Horvad. The goal score. Schaefer. Schaer slings 
a shot. Deflects on. Save. Rebound. Score. On the power play. The Islanders stick with it and they 
break the 1-1 tie. A loose pucker. Shaver just whips a wrist shot to the net. Marstrom bats it 
down. One more look. Paul Mary’s right in front screening him. I think it hit Brendan Dylan. It 
sure did. And that’s he he tries to block it. He sticks his arm out and Marston’s going left 
and that puck ends up going right into the Brad finds Luke to Jack. Jack lead the goal. Tries a 
sharp angle. Won’t go. He’s sure with a shot and a save by Sroken and the Islanders clear it out 
of the zone. A difference here. No question about it. Here’s Jack right from the goal line. Catches 
the right shoulder right by the the numbers on his shoulder. Number 30. Faceoff. Goes back behind the 
net. Mercer battling. Timebing away. 15 seconds. Goes back into the corner. Brad waits for it to 
come down. Brad forced into the corner. Tries to sling a centering pass. Goes off a skate. Brad 
gets it back. What’s Nez on this? Needs the blast from the point and they crack the code on Sroen 
and we are tied at two. Unbelievable. Just when it looked like they were going to lose their 
first home game possibly. There’s no quit and they get the puck to Nemits up high and they get 
a bounce of their own as it’s blocked up top right here by by Holstrom. Uh but it bounces and change 
direction on on the goalender Sroen in the Devils and the Islanders trying to calm it down with 
Pulock almost intercepted but it’s poked ahead by Barcel. Now he’s got ahead of steam. 
Gets it to Drew and back to Barcel. Matt Barzel scores. So the Islanders recover and 
they score in overtime and they get the extra point ending the Devils sevengame winning 
streak at home. A really nice play give and go. Barcel a little to the back end to the 
forehand and beats Marstrom. Good hockey game.
