Looking to get a centennial, but I get all my jerseys from vintage Detroit and they never received these jerseys.

If I purchase here, will it be sewn or heat pressed?

  4. If anyone was wondering, i just got my jersey from DHgate for $40 after shipping. Overall I give it a 9/10. It is Sewn on. I much prefer it over the actual Fanatics screen printed version. I’m sure it’s not as nice as the real sewn on one. It has the writing on the seams and all the patches except the garbage patch, It has the “A” on the raymond as well.

  6. OP, I misspoke in all of my comments – the nameplate and numbers are heat pressed.

    I’ll follow up with interior pics of the sweater. (i’ll also post pictures of the interior of my premium Larkin from last year’s stadium series)

    the jersey itself is beautiful, love it. but i’m pretty annoyed.

  8. Something that nobody is mentioning is that none of us really have a choice.

    Every other retailer, including fanatics, is sold out unless you want one of the smaller sizes.

    If you want one, you want one from shophockeytown.com or you’re going to miss out waiting for a restock that will probably never happen. If the numbers aren’t sewn you can take it to vintage Detroit and have them stitch it down for you.

    Don’t buy the crap on dhgate. It’s terrible quality, poor fabrics, poor stitching, and fall apart after a few wears. I agree that this stuff is more expensive than it should be, but the knockoffs are far too cheap and they look terrible.

  9. I just received my yzerman preorder from them and everything is heat pressed except for the shoulder patches and leather bits. I assumed it was fine because it was from the team store so I took the tags off. I don’t know what to do

  11. So wait, you’re telling me I’ve waited 8 weeks for a jersey I spent over $300 on and the nameplate and numbers are only heat pressed on for alumni? What kind of horse shit is that

  12. Some are sewn some aren’t. My Kane was heat pressed and the numbers fell off so I exchanged it at the shop for a Raymond which was sewn. I don’t get it but seems like the captain and alternates are and everyone else isn’t
