Exactly. Fire Bowen hire Pierce was what I wanted to happen.
This post stays up, but my post showing the 2026 Draft Big Board and asking fellow Giants fans who they wanna draft, gets taken down
Make it make sense
Fire Bowen then fire Daboll at the end of the season, like this baffles me cause Bowen literally lost 4 games for them
I don’t get how people don’t understand this. They’re obviously going to fire Bowen after the season. They have no one to run the defense right now without him. They can’t even interview coaches from other teams right now.
I figured it out. No one liked Daboll. Now that Dabes is gone, Bowen is going to magically field the most dominant defense ever. Kafka’s offense is going to put up 60 points a game. Our special teams will make play after play and we’ll definitely never have kicking problems again.
Just you wait.
Off-season to do list will be BIG.
I think they were gonna try to wait for the end of the season, but only if Daboll stopped his AGDQ-level CTE speedrun for Dart.
People who really think this need to learn how to be happy.
The only logic I can think of is Dabol let/told him to run those coverages to close out games. When management spoke to Kafka. He probably told them he could make it work with Bowen
How does Joe Schoen still have a job after 4 abortions of a roster? Dudes put nothing together
To me, this is just the Army in me, when you’re in a leadership position you’re responsible for everything your unit does and fails to do.
Platoon leader and the platoon fails, that’s on you, it’s you’re the platoon leader.
Company commander and the company fails, that’s on you, you’re the commander.
Battalion commander and the battalion fails, that’s on you, you’re the battalion commander.
Head coach of a team and the team fails, that’s on you, you’re the team’s head coach.
I can’t sit here and even begin to think that Shane Bown had 0 guidance, input, planning considerations, and vision from Brian Daboll on the defense.
If he did get all that from Daboll and what we saw was the result, then Daboll is a shitty leader.
If he didn’t get any of that from Daboll and he let Bowen do whatever he wanted, then Daboll is a shitty leader. Either fucking way, it’s Daboll’s fault because he was the coach, and he is in charge of the team.
Don’t get this twisted, I don’t have any faith in Shane Bowen, BUT Daboll is out, Kafka’s roster number got called, he’s the HC now. If Make Kafka can step up and say “here is my vision for this team,” and things change, it was all Daboll’s leadership or lack thereof. But if nothing changes, then it means two things: Kafka isn’t a leader, and Shane Bowen needs to be shot to the moon.
It’s Kafka’s decision now, much like it was Dabolls.
Bowen should be gone at the end of the season still thankfully!
