He's giving us no offense and there are better defenders deeper on the bench. I'd rather play Ajax or Sims who are already better defenders than Coffey and could also actually develop during the season too. Especially when we're getting killed on the boards, put in Sims for Coffey for the love of god. And at least Ajax knows how to sit in the corner and hit corner threes and crash the boards for a highlight real put back slam if need be.
This will probably be irrelevant after TP and KPJ are back but all the more reason to at least give some run to younger players who could develop.

Definitely just due to injuries but I agree, at least Ajax and Sims bring some athleticism and verticality to the table. Coffey is just kinda out there.
Perhaps Doc thinks he is more of a neutral presence than a potential negative presence. It does astound me that he’d rather play 3 undersized guards in a lineup than put Sims on the court though.
Chill bro. We won a few minutes ago.
Yeah that’s why I was mad we cut Livingston for him. Like at best your getting a slightly negative player at worst your getting one of the worst in the league.
Somebody has to do nothing in place of TP
i’d want to give coffey some more run and let him play out a bit more then decide if he’s washed.
gary harris shouldn’t not see the court however.
I’m surprised too. He looked good the last two seasons with the Clips, corner 3s, mid range shots etc. maybe Ty Lue knows how to utilize him better than Doc? I don’t know.
He’s a career 38+% shooter from 3. So I get giving him a chance, but he’s at 15% and every lineup he’s in dies because that’s his only skill. He’s not big enough to be useful if he can’t at least knock down open shots. I’d love to see more Sims if we’re playing someone with no chance of scoring.
I never want to see AJax on the court again
